Es ist auch der Platz, an dem der beliebte Markt f\u00fcr typische Produkte abgehalten wird. Es ist der perfekte Ort f\u00fcr einen Spaziergang und einen sonnigen Tag inmitten der Natur. Es gibt einen sch\u00f6nen See, Wege und Erholungsbereiche sowie einen Spielplatz f\u00fcr Kinder. Es liegt an der Waalkade in der Stadt Nijmegen. Das Museum wurde 1981 aus der privaten Sammlung von G.F. Moed gegr\u00fcndet. Auf drei Etagen zeigt es etwa 250 Exponate aus fast zwei Jahrhunderten. In r\u00f6mischer Zeit gab es hier ein r\u00f6misches Armeelager. Sp\u00e4ter d\u00fcrfte Kaiser Karl der Gro\u00dfe dort einen Palast (Palais) bauen lassen haben. Das heutige Geb\u00e4ude wurde von Ben van Berkel entworfen.
