Carnival Parade
Check out the Carnival Parade! The parade goes on both day and night. Traditionally, it is led by three main floats, the King’s Float, Queens Float and their son Carnivalon’s Float. All of the floats are meticulously designed to represent the theme of the year and are accompanied by giant puppets also known as Mache puppets. This is definitely something that you do not want to miss.
Flower Parade
Also known as The Battle of Flowers, one of the most famous events at Nice Carnival is the Flower Parade. It shows a wild array of beautiful flowers that the Nice region has produced. Parade of Lights

Carnival King
Every year a new Carnival King (King’s Float) is chosen to represent the theme of the year. He will oversee the Carnival for two weeks. At the end of the festival, as his reign comes to an end, he is sent out to the sea in a little boat and burnt celebrated with fireworks for the carnival-goers.
