手元にあるのは、自分たちだけで進める推理ゲームです。スマートフォンと、自分のペースと、事件現場としてのミュンヘン。デジタルの登場人物に話を聞き、手がかりを並べ、暗号を破り、犯人を名指ししてください。マダミスの中でも、司会も進行表も他人の予定も必要としないタイプです。
移動はすべて徒歩で、地点と地点のあいだも事件は動きつづけます。歩く時間そのものがゲームで、面白い場面のあいだの空白ではありません。
ミュンヘンのどこを歩くことになるのか
後半で効いてくるのは、いま立っている場所よりも、すでに見てきたものです。二つの証言が噛み合わなくなり、どちらが嘘なのかを詰める作業が午後の残りを占めます。
ミュンヘンでの捜査はこう進みます
物語のほうが道中であなたを見つけます。それぞれの地点で、デジタルの登場人物が起きたことの一部を知っていて、去る前に謎か、暗号か、写真ミッションを残していきます。正解するほどリストは短くなります。3〜4キロ、1.5〜2時間を見ておいてください。ただし計測はしていないので、途中で食事に入ってから戻っても構いません。シャーロックホームズを読んだ人はもう手法を知っています。全員が通り過ぎるものに気づき、それが何を意味するのかを言う、それだけです。
ミュンヘンで誰と遊ぶか
友人と。4人で1台を共有し、たいていは4通りの推理も共有します。子ども向けのスタンプラリーではなく、大人が二時間楽しめるミステリーゲームなので、まだ打ち解けていないグループでも事件のほうが会話をつくってくれます。デートにも女子会の延長にも向きます。
子連れで。八歳くらいから遊べます。3〜4キロは障害になりません。写真ミッションでは子どものほうが大人より速く、ミュンヘンでは中高生まで参加する数少ない体験のひとつです。
チームで。チームビルディングゲームとして、ガイドも会場も決まった開始時刻も要りません。二つ三つのグループに同じ事件を解かせて結果を比べてください。社員旅行なら、着いた人から順に始められます。

ミュンヘンのマダミスはどうやって遊ぶのですか？
Loquiz アプリをダウンロードし、ミュンヘンの最初の地点まで行って、準備ができたら始めてください。そこから先は事件があなたと一緒に動きます。登場人物が情報を持って現れ、各地点が謎か暗号か写真の課題を出し、最後の答えが犯人になります。
所要時間はどのくらいですか？
3〜4キロで1.5〜2時間を見ておいてください。動いている時計も締め切りの時刻もないので、ペースはこちらで決め、休みたいところで休めます。
チケット1枚で何人まで遊べますか？
4名までが1台のスマートフォンと19.95ユーロのチケット1枚を共有します。4名を超えるならもう1枚。同じ事件に2チームというのは、そもそも遊び方としてこちらのほうが面白くなります。
時間帯の予約は必要ですか？
予約で決めるのは日にちだけ、時刻はお任せです。ミュンヘンにはそのための集合場所もガイドも、参加すべき団体もありません。
子どもでも楽しめますか？
おおむね八歳から。距離は障害になりませんし、写真ミッションでは子どもが大人を追い抜きます。暗号は最後には家族の共同作業になります。
雨が降ったらどうなりますか？
遊ぶ時間も止める時間もこちらで決められます。建物に入って通り過ぎるのを待ち、中断したところから事件を再開してください。進行状況は保存され、動いている時計もありません。
これは推理ゲームですか、それともミュンヘンの街歩きですか？
道のりとしてはミュンヘンを一周する街歩き、中身としては殺人事件です。街は歩きながら入ってきますが、解説されるわけではありません。ここで探すのはあなたなので、そのぶん記憶にも残ります。

I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

This was a fun game! It had a few challenges which was good and surprises. It got me to go around and explore Queenstown, New Zealand. I got to places in Queenstown, New Zealand I hadn’t been to before while on holiday here. Thank you for that and it gave a feel what it would be like to be the actual Sherlock Holmes!
