プレヴェザのどこかで、誰かがバルサザールを殺して立ち去りました。それが誰なのかを割り出すのがあなたの仕事です。
手元にあるのは、自分たちだけで進める推理ゲームです。スマートフォンと、自分のペースと、事件現場としてのプレヴェザ。デジタルの登場人物に話を聞き、手がかりを並べ、暗号を破り、犯人を名指ししてください。マダミスの中でも、司会も進行表も他人の予定も必要としないタイプです。
Venetian Clock Tower、Pantokratoras Castle の前を通ります。どれも遠回りではありません。それぞれが事件の中で役目を持っていて、いちばん頭を使うのはむしろ地点と地点のあいだの道のりです。
事件がプレヴェザのどこへ連れていくのか
終盤には、街を見る回数と同じくらい自分のメモを見返すことになります。はじめは背景にしか見えなかった二つ三つが、最後の判断を決めます。
プレヴェザでの推理ゲームの進み方
歩いていると、物語のほうから近づいてきます。地点と地点のあいだでデジタルの登場人物に出会い、その一人ひとりが事件の一部だけを知っていて、それぞれが謎か、暗号か、写真ミッションを残していきます。正解するたびに容疑者のリストが短くなります。多くのグループは3〜4キロを1.5〜2時間で歩きますが、時計は動いていません。コーヒー休憩を挟んで、気が向いたら事件に戻ってください。シャーロックホームズを読んだ方なら手法はご存じのはずです。誰よりもよく見て、見えたものをそのまま言葉にする。それだけです。
プレヴェザを子連れで、友人と、チームで
友人と。1台のスマートフォンに4名まで、順番待ちは発生しません。2人で過ごす午後にも、予定がまとまらない大人数にも、同じように使えます。
チームで。4名につき1枚チケットを買い、プレヴェザで各グループを同じ事件に送り出して、あとで比べてください。ガイドも会場費も決まった時刻も不要なので、参加者が三々五々集まる懇親会の前後にも差し込めます。
子連れで。八歳くらいから。子どもは大人が通り過ぎた壁の細部を見つけますし、暗号は最後には家族全員で解くことになります。

プレヴェザのマダミスはどうやって遊ぶのですか？
Loquiz アプリをダウンロードし、プレヴェザの最初の地点まで行って、準備ができたら始めてください。そこから先は事件があなたと一緒に動きます。登場人物が情報を持って現れ、各地点が謎か暗号か写真の課題を出し、最後の答えが犯人になります。
所要時間はどのくらいですか？
グループの多くは1.5〜2時間かけ、3〜4キロを歩きます。計測はしていないので、途中の長いコーヒー休憩に費用はかかりません。事件のほうが待っています。
チケット1枚で何人まで遊べますか？
4名までが1台のスマートフォンと19.95ユーロのチケット1枚を共有します。4名を超えるならもう1枚。同じ事件に2チームというのは、そもそも遊び方としてこちらのほうが面白くなります。
時間帯の予約は必要ですか？
予約で決めるのは日にちだけ、時刻はお任せです。プレヴェザにはそのための集合場所もガイドも、参加すべき団体もありません。
子どもでも楽しめますか？
おおむね八歳から。距離は障害になりませんし、写真ミッションでは子どもが大人を追い抜きます。暗号は最後には家族の共同作業になります。
雨が降ったらどうなりますか？
遊ぶ時間も止める時間もこちらで決められます。建物に入って通り過ぎるのを待ち、中断したところから事件を再開してください。進行状況は保存され、動いている時計もありません。
これは推理ゲームですか、それともプレヴェザの街歩きですか？
よい散策ルートと同じようにプレヴェザを歩かせてくれますし、歩きながら街を覚えます。違うのは、何かを探しているという点です。建物を見上げる理由としては、「見てください」と言われるよりこちらのほうが強く働きます。

I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

This was a fun game! It had a few challenges which was good and surprises. It got me to go around and explore Queenstown, New Zealand. I got to places in Queenstown, New Zealand I hadn’t been to before while on holiday here. Thank you for that and it gave a feel what it would be like to be the actual Sherlock Holmes!
