Solve a detective murder mystery on foot in Tokyo, starting at Kamiike park and following the clues through the surrounding streets.
バルサザール事件は未解決、東京の通りそのものが証拠、そしてそれを読むのはあなたです。
遊ぶのはご自分のスマートフォン、進む速さもご自分次第、そして事件現場は東京です。テーブルの上ではなく実際の通りで進むマダミス。手がかり、デジタルの証人、破るべき暗号、そして最後に名前を挙げる犯人。推理ゲームとして必要なものは揃っていて、ないのはガイドと開始時刻と団体だけです。
事件の最初の住所は Ueno Park、Sensō-ji Temple、Kaminarimon Gate です。順に回っていきますが、二つの地点のあいだで気づいたことのほうが、地点に書かれていることより効いてくる場面もあります。
東京のルートに何があるか
ルートの後半には Imperial Palace が入ります。ここまで丁寧に記録してきたなら、そこではすでに見当がついていることを確かめるだけで済みます。
東京のマダミスはこう動きます
歩くうちに、事件は断片で届きます。地点ではデジタルの登場人物が待っていて、それぞれが真相の一部と、課題を一つ持っています。謎、暗号、写真。解いたぶんだけ容疑者リストから名前が消えます。目安は3〜4キロで1.5〜2時間ですが、誰も時間を計っていません。途中で一時間座り込んでも、事件のほうが待っています。手法はシャーロックホームズの事件でおなじみのものです。ほかの人が通り過ぎるところで立ち止まり、そこに何があるのかを回りくどくなく言うだけです。
東京で誰と遊ぶか
チームで。東京で二つか三つのグループを同じ事件に送り、どのチームが先に犯人を名指しするか見てください。予約するものも、手配する人も、進行表もありません。チームビルディングが実際の仕事の週に耐えるのはそのためです。
子連れで。八歳くらいから。全員が見落とした細部に最初に気づくのはたいてい子どもで、暗号はグループ全員で解く部分になります。
友人と。1台のスマートフォンに4人、それぞれ別の推理。面白さの大半はその言い合いのほうにあります。

東京のマダミスはどうやって遊ぶのですか？
Loquiz アプリをダウンロードし、東京の最初の地点まで行って、準備ができたら始めてください。そこから先は事件があなたと一緒に動きます。登場人物が情報を持って現れ、各地点が謎か暗号か写真の課題を出し、最後の答えが犯人になります。
所要時間はどのくらいですか？
多くのグループで1.5〜2時間、徒歩で3〜4キロほどです。制限時間はありません。こちらが止まればゲームも止まるので、途中で食事に入り、そのあと続きから再開できます。
チケット1枚で何人まで遊べますか？
チケット1枚、スマートフォン1台、1名から4名まで、全員合わせて19.95ユーロです。人数が多いときは2枚目を買って、二つのグループを競わせてください。
時間帯の予約は必要ですか？
予約で決めるのは日にちだけ、時刻はお任せです。東京にはそのための集合場所もガイドも、参加すべき団体もありません。
子どもでも楽しめますか？
おおむね八歳から。距離は障害になりませんし、写真ミッションでは子どもが大人を追い抜きます。暗号は最後には家族の共同作業になります。
雨が降ったらどうなりますか？
遊ぶ時間も止める時間もこちらで決められます。建物に入って通り過ぎるのを待ち、中断したところから事件を再開してください。進行状況は保存され、動いている時計もありません。
これは推理ゲームですか、それとも東京の街歩きですか？
よい散策ルートと同じように東京を歩かせてくれますし、歩きながら街を覚えます。違うのは、何かを探しているという点です。建物を見上げる理由としては、「見てください」と言われるよりこちらのほうが強く働きます。

I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

This was a fun game! It had a few challenges which was good and surprises. It got me to go around and explore Queenstown, New Zealand. I got to places in Queenstown, New Zealand I hadn’t been to before while on holiday here. Thank you for that and it gave a feel what it would be like to be the actual Sherlock Holmes!
