Follow a detective murder case on foot through Porto, from the Câmara Municipal down to the river and the Ponte Dom Luís I.

バルサザール事件は未解決、ポルトの通りそのものが証拠、そしてそれを読むのはあなたです。

ご自分のスマートフォンで動き、ポルトの街をそのまま盤面に使う推理ゲームです。手がかりを集め、デジタルの登場人物に質問し、暗号を破り、最後に犯人の名前を挙げます。つまり卓を囲まずに街へ持ち出したマダミスで、案内する人も、間に合わせる集合時刻も、一緒に動く団体もありません。

ルートが拾っていくのは Cais da Ribeira de Gaia、Palácio da Bolsa、Teatro Nacional São João です。あいだの区間もすべて事件の一部なので、謎解きの本ではなく街歩きとして成立します。

事件がポルトのどこへ連れていくのか

事件は Jardim da Cordoaria、Mercado Ferreira Borges にも立ち寄ります。景色として置かれているのではなく、そこに必要なものがあるからです。

ポルトのマダミスはこう動きます

道中で物語が少しずつ姿を見せます。地点と地点のあいだにいるデジタルの登場人物はそれぞれ何かを知っていますが、謎か暗号か写真ミッションを解かないと話してくれません。正解のたびに容疑者が一人消えます。通常は3〜4キロを1.5〜2時間、時計は動いていないので途中で食事に出ても何も失いません。手法はシャーロックホームズの事件簿にあるとおりで、まず誰よりもよく見て、それから見たものを飾らずに言う、という順番です。

ポルトを子連れで、友人と、チームで

子連れで。八歳くらいから遊べますし、写真ミッションでは子どもが毎回いちばん速く動きます。ポルトを子連れで一日過ごすときの利点は、道中誰も黙って解説を聞かなくていいところです。

チームで。チームビルディングとして、進行役の費用も会場費もかかりません。4名ずつのグループに同じ事件を解かせて所要時間を比べてください。社内イベントや社員旅行なら、日付を決めるだけで足ります。

友人と。2人でも6人でも同じように成立し、増えるのは犯人をめぐる議論だけです。バチェラーパーティーの初日に置くなら、朝から遊べるところも利点になります。

ポルトのマダミスはどうやって遊ぶのですか？

Loquiz という謎解きアプリをスマートフォンに入れ、ポルトのスタート地点まで歩いて、そこから始めます。地点から地点へ移動するうちに物語が開いていきます。デジタルの登場人物が手がかりを渡し、それぞれの地点には謎か、暗号か、写真ミッションが待っています。すべて解き終えると、バルサザールを殺した犯人を指名できます。

所要時間はどのくらいですか？

グループの多くは1.5〜2時間かけ、3〜4キロを歩きます。計測はしていないので、途中の長いコーヒー休憩に費用はかかりません。事件のほうが待っています。

チケット1枚で何人まで遊べますか？

1枚で1〜4名、スマートフォン1台で遊べます。合計19.95ユーロです。5名以上のグループは2枚目を買ってください。チーム対抗で競えるようにもなります。

時間帯の予約は必要ですか？

日付だけです。実際に何時に始めるかはご自分で決められますし、ポルトのどこにも待っている人はいません。集合場所も、ガイドも、団体もありません。

子どもでも楽しめますか？

おおむね八歳から。距離は障害になりませんし、写真ミッションでは子どもが大人を追い抜きます。暗号は最後には家族の共同作業になります。

雨が降ったらどうなりますか？

遊ぶ時間も止める時間もこちらで決められます。建物に入って通り過ぎるのを待ち、中断したところから事件を再開してください。進行状況は保存され、動いている時計もありません。

これは推理ゲームですか、それともポルトの街歩きですか？

道のりとしてはポルトを一周する街歩き、中身としては殺人事件です。街は歩きながら入ってきますが、解説されるわけではありません。ここで探すのはあなたなので、そのぶん記憶にも残ります。

    This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

    This was a fun game! It had a few challenges which was good and surprises. It got me to go around and explore Queenstown, New Zealand. I got to places in Queenstown, New Zealand I hadn’t been to before while on holiday here. Thank you for that and it gave a feel what it would be like to be the actual Sherlock Holmes!
