バルサザールは死にました。手がかりはアルメリアの街を通っていて、そこをたどる人はほかにいません。
これは、ご自分のスマートフォンで、好きなペースで進めるマダミスです。事件現場になるのはアルメリアの街そのもの。手がかりをたどり、デジタルの登場人物に話を聞き、暗号を解いて、犯人を指し示してください。屋外で遊ぶ推理ゲームなので、ガイドも、決まった開始時刻も、ついていくべき団体もありません。
事件のルートは Museo de la Guitarra Almeria をたどります。移動はすべて徒歩で、地点と地点のあいだも事件は動きつづけます。歩く時間そのものがゲームで、面白い場面のあいだの空白ではありません。
アルメリアのどこを歩くことになるのか
後半で効いてくるのは、いま立っている場所よりも、すでに見てきたものです。二つの証言が噛み合わなくなり、どちらが嘘なのかを詰める作業が午後の残りを占めます。
アルメリアでの捜査はこう進みます
物語のほうが道中であなたを見つけます。それぞれの地点で、デジタルの登場人物が起きたことの一部を知っていて、去る前に謎か、暗号か、写真ミッションを残していきます。正解するほどリストは短くなります。3〜4キロ、1.5〜2時間を見ておいてください。ただし計測はしていないので、途中で食事に入ってから戻っても構いません。シャーロックホームズを読んだ人はもう手法を知っています。全員が通り過ぎるものに気づき、それが何を意味するのかを言う、それだけです。
アルメリアで誰と遊ぶか
友人と。1台のスマートフォンに4名まで、順番待ちは発生しません。2人で過ごす午後にも、予定がまとまらない大人数にも、同じように使えます。
チームで。4名につき1枚チケットを買い、アルメリアで各グループを同じ事件に送り出して、あとで比べてください。ガイドも会場費も決まった時刻も不要なので、参加者が三々五々集まる懇親会の前後にも差し込めます。
子連れで。八歳くらいから。子どもは大人が通り過ぎた壁の細部を見つけますし、暗号は最後には家族全員で解くことになります。

アルメリアのマダミスはどうやって遊ぶのですか？
ゲームは Loquiz アプリで動きます。アルメリアのスタート地点でアプリを開き、そこから進めていくだけです。デジタルの登場人物からの手がかり、各地点での謎・暗号・写真ミッション、そして最後にひとつの名前。
所要時間はどのくらいですか？
グループの多くは1.5〜2時間かけ、3〜4キロを歩きます。計測はしていないので、途中の長いコーヒー休憩に費用はかかりません。事件のほうが待っています。
チケット1枚で何人まで遊べますか？
4名までが1台のスマートフォンと19.95ユーロのチケット1枚を共有します。4名を超えるならもう1枚。同じ事件に2チームというのは、そもそも遊び方としてこちらのほうが面白くなります。
時間帯の予約は必要ですか？
日付だけです。実際に何時に始めるかはご自分で決められますし、アルメリアのどこにも待っている人はいません。集合場所も、ガイドも、団体もありません。
子どもでも楽しめますか？
八歳くらいから遊べます。3〜4キロは子どもでも問題なく歩けますし、写真ミッションではたいてい子どもがいちばん速く、暗号は家族で一緒に解く部分になります。
雨が降ったらどうなりますか？
遊びたいときに遊び、止めたいときに止められます。軒下に入り、待って、また進めてください。すべて保存されていて、時計も動いていないので失うものはありません。
これは推理ゲームですか、それともアルメリアの街歩きですか？
大事な意味では両方です。よくできた散策ルートと同じところを歩きますし、道すがら街のことも入ってきます。ただし、聞かせてもらうためではなく、何かを解くために歩いています。前を歩いて旗を持つ人はいません。

I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

This was a fun game! It had a few challenges which was good and surprises. It got me to go around and explore Queenstown, New Zealand. I got to places in Queenstown, New Zealand I hadn’t been to before while on holiday here. Thank you for that and it gave a feel what it would be like to be the actual Sherlock Holmes!
