Work a detective murder case on foot through Bilbao, from the city hall across Plaza Moyúa to the Azkuna Zentroa.
ビルバオに遺体がひとつ。名前はバルサザール。あなたが動くまで、この事件を追う人は誰もいません。
持ち歩ける事件記録です。事件はスマートフォンに届き、現場はビルバオが用意し、どれだけ速く進むかはあなたが決めます。手がかりを集め、デジタルの登場人物を問い詰め、暗号を破り、犯人を挙げてください。ゲームマスターも集合場所も拘束される団体もないマダミスであり、そのまま街歩き謎解きとしても成立します。
Iglesia de San Vicente Mártir、Palácio Chávarri、Teatro Campos Elíseos Antzokia の前を通ります。どれも遠回りではありません。それぞれが事件の中で役目を持っていて、いちばん頭を使うのはむしろ地点と地点のあいだの道のりです。
ビルバオのどこを歩くことになるのか
後半で効いてくるのは、いま立っている場所よりも、すでに見てきたものです。二つの証言が噛み合わなくなり、どちらが嘘なのかを詰める作業が午後の残りを占めます。
ビルバオでの捜査はこう進みます
歩くうちに、事件は断片で届きます。地点ではデジタルの登場人物が待っていて、それぞれが真相の一部と、課題を一つ持っています。謎、暗号、写真。解いたぶんだけ容疑者リストから名前が消えます。目安は3〜4キロで1.5〜2時間ですが、誰も時間を計っていません。途中で一時間座り込んでも、事件のほうが待っています。手法はシャーロックホームズの事件でおなじみのものです。ほかの人が通り過ぎるところで立ち止まり、そこに何があるのかを回りくどくなく言うだけです。
ビルバオで誰と遊ぶか
チームで。ビルバオで二つか三つのグループを同じ事件に送り、どのチームが先に犯人を名指しするか見てください。予約するものも、手配する人も、進行表もありません。チームビルディングが実際の仕事の週に耐えるのはそのためです。
子連れで。八歳くらいから。全員が見落とした細部に最初に気づくのはたいてい子どもで、暗号はグループ全員で解く部分になります。
友人と。1台のスマートフォンに4人、それぞれ別の推理。面白さの大半はその言い合いのほうにあります。

ビルバオのマダミスはどうやって遊ぶのですか？
ゲームは Loquiz アプリで動きます。ビルバオのスタート地点でアプリを開き、そこから進めていくだけです。デジタルの登場人物からの手がかり、各地点での謎・暗号・写真ミッション、そして最後にひとつの名前。
所要時間はどのくらいですか？
多くのグループで1.5〜2時間、徒歩で3〜4キロほどです。制限時間はありません。こちらが止まればゲームも止まるので、途中で食事に入り、そのあと続きから再開できます。
チケット1枚で何人まで遊べますか？
4名までが1台のスマートフォンと19.95ユーロのチケット1枚を共有します。4名を超えるならもう1枚。同じ事件に2チームというのは、そもそも遊び方としてこちらのほうが面白くなります。
時間帯の予約は必要ですか？
日付だけです。実際に何時に始めるかはご自分で決められますし、ビルバオのどこにも待っている人はいません。集合場所も、ガイドも、団体もありません。
子どもでも楽しめますか？
おおむね八歳から。距離は障害になりませんし、写真ミッションでは子どもが大人を追い抜きます。暗号は最後には家族の共同作業になります。
雨が降ったらどうなりますか？
待てば済む程度のことです。カフェに入ってにわか雨をやり過ごし、止めたところから続けてください。進行状況は保存されていますし、失うような制限時間もありません。
これは推理ゲームですか、それともビルバオの街歩きですか？
よい散策ルートと同じようにビルバオを歩かせてくれますし、歩きながら街を覚えます。違うのは、何かを探しているという点です。建物を見上げる理由としては、「見てください」と言われるよりこちらのほうが強く働きます。

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

This was a fun game! It had a few challenges which was good and surprises. It got me to go around and explore Queenstown, New Zealand. I got to places in Queenstown, New Zealand I hadn’t been to before while on holiday here. Thank you for that and it gave a feel what it would be like to be the actual Sherlock Holmes!
