手元にあるのは、自分たちだけで進める推理ゲームです。スマートフォンと、自分のペースと、事件現場としてのサラマンカ。デジタルの登場人物に話を聞き、手がかりを並べ、暗号を破り、犯人を名指ししてください。マダミスの中でも、司会も進行表も他人の予定も必要としないタイプです。
Plaza Mayor de Salamanca、Casa de las Conchas、Convento de las Dueñas の前を通ります。どれも遠回りではありません。それぞれが事件の中で役目を持っていて、いちばん頭を使うのはむしろ地点と地点のあいだの道のりです。
サラマンカのルートに何があるか
ルートの後半に残っているのが Iglesia de San Benito です。そこへ着く頃には、容疑者のリストは細部がすべて効いてくるくらいまで短くなっています。
サラマンカでの推理ゲームの進み方
歩いていると、物語のほうから近づいてきます。地点と地点のあいだでデジタルの登場人物に出会い、その一人ひとりが事件の一部だけを知っていて、それぞれが謎か、暗号か、写真ミッションを残していきます。正解するたびに容疑者のリストが短くなります。多くのグループは3〜4キロを1.5〜2時間で歩きますが、時計は動いていません。コーヒー休憩を挟んで、気が向いたら事件に戻ってください。シャーロックホームズを読んだ方なら手法はご存じのはずです。誰よりもよく見て、見えたものをそのまま言葉にする。それだけです。
サラマンカでの家族・友人・チームの遊び方
子連れで。八歳くらいから遊べますし、写真ミッションでは子どもが毎回いちばん速く動きます。サラマンカを子連れで一日過ごすときの利点は、道中誰も黙って解説を聞かなくていいところです。
チームで。チームビルディングとして、進行役の費用も会場費もかかりません。4名ずつのグループに同じ事件を解かせて所要時間を比べてください。社内イベントや社員旅行なら、日付を決めるだけで足ります。
友人と。2人でも6人でも同じように成立し、増えるのは犯人をめぐる議論だけです。バチェラーパーティーの初日に置くなら、朝から遊べるところも利点になります。

時間帯の予約は必要ですか？
日付だけです。実際に何時に始めるかはご自分で決められますし、サラマンカのどこにも待っている人はいません。集合場所も、ガイドも、団体もありません。
子どもでも楽しめますか？
八歳くらいから遊べます。3〜4キロは子どもでも問題なく歩けますし、写真ミッションではたいてい子どもがいちばん速く、暗号は家族で一緒に解く部分になります。
雨が降ったらどうなりますか？
遊ぶ時間も止める時間もこちらで決められます。建物に入って通り過ぎるのを待ち、中断したところから事件を再開してください。進行状況は保存され、動いている時計もありません。
これは推理ゲームですか、それともサラマンカの街歩きですか？
大事な意味では両方です。よくできた散策ルートと同じところを歩きますし、道すがら街のことも入ってきます。ただし、聞かせてもらうためではなく、何かを解くために歩いています。前を歩いて旗を持つ人はいません。

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

This was a fun game! It had a few challenges which was good and surprises. It got me to go around and explore Queenstown, New Zealand. I got to places in Queenstown, New Zealand I hadn’t been to before while on holiday here. Thank you for that and it gave a feel what it would be like to be the actual Sherlock Holmes!
