遺体がひとつ、バルサザールという被害者がひとり、そしてカールスクルーナの街をまだ歩いている犯人がひとり。ここから先はあなたの事件です。
手元にあるのは、自分たちだけで進める推理ゲームです。スマートフォンと、自分のペースと、事件現場としてのカールスクルーナ。デジタルの登場人物に話を聞き、手がかりを並べ、暗号を破り、犯人を名指ししてください。マダミスの中でも、司会も進行表も他人の予定も必要としないタイプです。
Amiralitetskyrkan、Fredrikskyrkan、Naval Museum の前を通ります。どれも遠回りではありません。それぞれが事件の中で役目を持っていて、いちばん頭を使うのはむしろ地点と地点のあいだの道のりです。
事件がカールスクルーナのどこへ連れていくのか
ルートの後半に残っているのが Church of the Holy Trinity です。そこへ着く頃には、容疑者のリストは細部がすべて効いてくるくらいまで短くなっています。
カールスクルーナでの推理ゲームの進み方
こちらが歩き、事件のほうが向かってきます。地点のあいだにデジタルの登場人物が現れ、それぞれが物語の断片を一つと、謎か暗号か写真ミッションを一つ置いていきます。正解はリストから名前を消します。全体で3〜4キロ、1.5〜2時間ほど。時計は回っていないので、長いコーヒー休憩を取っても損はしません。手法はシャーロックホームズでおなじみのものです。きちんと見て、いま見たものを声に出す。
カールスクルーナで誰と遊ぶか
友人と。1台のスマートフォンに4名まで、順番待ちは発生しません。2人で過ごす午後にも、予定がまとまらない大人数にも、同じように使えます。
チームで。4名につき1枚チケットを買い、カールスクルーナで各グループを同じ事件に送り出して、あとで比べてください。ガイドも会場費も決まった時刻も不要なので、参加者が三々五々集まる懇親会の前後にも差し込めます。
子連れで。八歳くらいから。子どもは大人が通り過ぎた壁の細部を見つけますし、暗号は最後には家族全員で解くことになります。

時間帯の予約は必要ですか？
日付だけです。実際に何時に始めるかはご自分で決められますし、カールスクルーナのどこにも待っている人はいません。集合場所も、ガイドも、団体もありません。
子どもでも楽しめますか？
はい、八歳前後から遊べます。謎は解ける難度で、歩く距離が子どもにこたえることはありません。経験上、決め手になる細部に最初に気づくのはいちばん年下の参加者です。
雨が降ったらどうなりますか？
待てば済む程度のことです。カフェに入ってにわか雨をやり過ごし、止めたところから続けてください。進行状況は保存されていますし、失うような制限時間もありません。
これは推理ゲームですか、それともカールスクルーナの街歩きですか？
大事な意味では両方です。よくできた散策ルートと同じところを歩きますし、道すがら街のことも入ってきます。ただし、聞かせてもらうためではなく、何かを解くために歩いています。前を歩いて旗を持つ人はいません。

I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

This was a fun game! It had a few challenges which was good and surprises. It got me to go around and explore Queenstown, New Zealand. I got to places in Queenstown, New Zealand I hadn’t been to before while on holiday here. Thank you for that and it gave a feel what it would be like to be the actual Sherlock Holmes!
