Play a detective murder mystery on foot through Geneva, from the old town and Saint-Pierre cathedral down to the lakeside.

ジュネーブのどこかで、誰かがバルサザールを殺して立ち去りました。それが誰なのかを割り出すのがあなたの仕事です。

ご自分のスマートフォンで動き、ジュネーブの街をそのまま盤面に使う推理ゲームです。手がかりを集め、デジタルの登場人物に質問し、暗号を破り、最後に犯人の名前を挙げます。つまり卓を囲まずに街へ持ち出したマダミスで、案内する人も、間に合わせる集合時刻も、一緒に動く団体もありません。

事件の最初の住所は Place du Molard、Palais de l'Athénée、National Monument です。順に回っていきますが、二つの地点のあいだで気づいたことのほうが、地点に書かれていることより効いてくる場面もあります。

事件がジュネーブのどこへ連れていくのか

終盤には、街を見る回数と同じくらい自分のメモを見返すことになります。はじめは背景にしか見えなかった二つ三つが、最後の判断を決めます。

ジュネーブでの捜査はこう進みます

道中で物語が少しずつ姿を見せます。地点と地点のあいだにいるデジタルの登場人物はそれぞれ何かを知っていますが、謎か暗号か写真ミッションを解かないと話してくれません。正解のたびに容疑者が一人消えます。通常は3〜4キロを1.5〜2時間、時計は動いていないので途中で食事に出ても何も失いません。手法はシャーロックホームズの事件簿にあるとおりで、まず誰よりもよく見て、それから見たものを飾らずに言う、という順番です。

ジュネーブでの家族・友人・チームの遊び方

友人と。4人で1台を共有し、たいていは4通りの推理も共有します。子ども向けのスタンプラリーではなく、大人が二時間楽しめるミステリーゲームなので、まだ打ち解けていないグループでも事件のほうが会話をつくってくれます。デートにも女子会の延長にも向きます。

子連れで。八歳くらいから遊べます。3〜4キロは障害になりません。写真ミッションでは子どものほうが大人より速く、ジュネーブでは中高生まで参加する数少ない体験のひとつです。

チームで。チームビルディングゲームとして、ガイドも会場も決まった開始時刻も要りません。二つ三つのグループに同じ事件を解かせて結果を比べてください。社員旅行なら、着いた人から順に始められます。

ジュネーブのマダミスはどうやって遊ぶのですか？

ゲームは Loquiz アプリで動きます。ジュネーブのスタート地点でアプリを開き、そこから進めていくだけです。デジタルの登場人物からの手がかり、各地点での謎・暗号・写真ミッション、そして最後にひとつの名前。

所要時間はどのくらいですか？

グループの多くは1.5〜2時間かけ、3〜4キロを歩きます。計測はしていないので、途中の長いコーヒー休憩に費用はかかりません。事件のほうが待っています。

チケット1枚で何人まで遊べますか？

チケット1枚、スマートフォン1台、1名から4名まで、全員合わせて19.95ユーロです。人数が多いときは2枚目を買って、二つのグループを競わせてください。

時間帯の予約は必要ですか？

日付だけです。実際に何時に始めるかはご自分で決められますし、ジュネーブのどこにも待っている人はいません。集合場所も、ガイドも、団体もありません。

子どもでも楽しめますか？

おおむね八歳から。距離は障害になりませんし、写真ミッションでは子どもが大人を追い抜きます。暗号は最後には家族の共同作業になります。

雨が降ったらどうなりますか？

待てば済む程度のことです。カフェに入ってにわか雨をやり過ごし、止めたところから続けてください。進行状況は保存されていますし、失うような制限時間もありません。

道のりとしてはジュネーブを一周する街歩き、中身としては殺人事件です。街は歩きながら入ってきますが、解説されるわけではありません。ここで探すのはあなたなので、そのぶん記憶にも残ります。

    I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way.     This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

    This was a fun game! It had a few challenges which was good and surprises. It got me to go around and explore Queenstown, New Zealand. I got to places in Queenstown, New Zealand I hadn’t been to before while on holiday here. Thank you for that and it gave a feel what it would be like to be the actual Sherlock Holmes!
