ナイメーヘンに遺体がひとつ。名前はバルサザール。あなたが動くまで、この事件を追う人は誰もいません。

これは、ご自分のスマートフォンで、好きなペースで進めるマダミスです。事件現場になるのはナイメーヘンの街そのもの。手がかりをたどり、デジタルの登場人物に話を聞き、暗号を解いて、犯人を指し示してください。屋外で遊ぶ推理ゲームなので、ガイドも、決まった開始時刻も、ついていくべき団体もありません。

事件の最初の住所は Stevenskerk、Valkhof Museum、Sint-Nicolaaskapel です。順に回っていきますが、二つの地点のあいだで気づいたことのほうが、地点に書かれていることより効いてくる場面もあります。

事件がナイメーヘンのどこへ連れていくのか

ルートの後半に残っているのが Kronenburgerpark です。そこへ着く頃には、容疑者のリストは細部がすべて効いてくるくらいまで短くなっています。

ナイメーヘンのマダミスはこう動きます

歩いていると、物語のほうから近づいてきます。地点と地点のあいだでデジタルの登場人物に出会い、その一人ひとりが事件の一部だけを知っていて、それぞれが謎か、暗号か、写真ミッションを残していきます。正解するたびに容疑者のリストが短くなります。多くのグループは3〜4キロを1.5〜2時間で歩きますが、時計は動いていません。コーヒー休憩を挟んで、気が向いたら事件に戻ってください。シャーロックホームズを読んだ方なら手法はご存じのはずです。誰よりもよく見て、見えたものをそのまま言葉にする。それだけです。

ナイメーヘンで誰と遊ぶか

子連れで。八歳くらいから遊べますし、写真ミッションでは子どもが毎回いちばん速く動きます。ナイメーヘンを子連れで一日過ごすときの利点は、道中誰も黙って解説を聞かなくていいところです。

チームで。チームビルディングとして、進行役の費用も会場費もかかりません。4名ずつのグループに同じ事件を解かせて所要時間を比べてください。社内イベントや社員旅行なら、日付を決めるだけで足ります。

友人と。2人でも6人でも同じように成立し、増えるのは犯人をめぐる議論だけです。バチェラーパーティーの初日に置くなら、朝から遊べるところも利点になります。

ナイメーヘンのマダミスはどうやって遊ぶのですか？

ゲームは Loquiz アプリで動きます。ナイメーヘンのスタート地点でアプリを開き、そこから進めていくだけです。デジタルの登場人物からの手がかり、各地点での謎・暗号・写真ミッション、そして最後にひとつの名前。

所要時間はどのくらいですか？

多くのグループで1.5〜2時間、徒歩で3〜4キロほどです。制限時間はありません。こちらが止まればゲームも止まるので、途中で食事に入り、そのあと続きから再開できます。

チケット1枚で何人まで遊べますか？

1枚で1〜4名、スマートフォン1台で遊べます。合計19.95ユーロです。5名以上のグループは2枚目を買ってください。チーム対抗で競えるようにもなります。

時間帯の予約は必要ですか？

予約のときに選ぶのは日付だけで、その日の好きな時間に始められます。ナイメーヘンに集合場所はなく、ガイドも、合流すべき団体もありません。

子どもでも楽しめますか？

おおむね八歳から。距離は障害になりませんし、写真ミッションでは子どもが大人を追い抜きます。暗号は最後には家族の共同作業になります。

雨が降ったらどうなりますか？

遊ぶ時間も止める時間もこちらで決められます。建物に入って通り過ぎるのを待ち、中断したところから事件を再開してください。進行状況は保存され、動いている時計もありません。

これは推理ゲームですか、それともナイメーヘンの街歩きですか？

大事な意味では両方です。よくできた散策ルートと同じところを歩きますし、道すがら街のことも入ってきます。ただし、聞かせてもらうためではなく、何かを解くために歩いています。前を歩いて旗を持つ人はいません。

    I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way.     This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

    This was a fun game! It had a few challenges which was good and surprises. It got me to go around and explore Queenstown, New Zealand. I got to places in Queenstown, New Zealand I hadn’t been to before while on holiday here. Thank you for that and it gave a feel what it would be like to be the actual Sherlock Holmes!
