Solve a detective murder mystery on foot in The Hague, from the Buitenhof past the Hofvijver and Mauritshuis, at your own pace.

バルサザールは死にました。手がかりはハーグの街を通っていて、そこをたどる人はほかにいません。

持ち歩ける事件記録です。事件はスマートフォンに届き、現場はハーグが用意し、どれだけ速く進むかはあなたが決めます。手がかりを集め、デジタルの登場人物を問い詰め、暗号を破り、犯人を挙げてください。ゲームマスターも集合場所も拘束される団体もないマダミスであり、そのまま街歩き謎解きとしても成立します。

事件の最初の住所は Mauritshuis、Binnenhof、Escher in the Palace です。順に回っていきますが、二つの地点のあいだで気づいたことのほうが、地点に書かれていることより効いてくる場面もあります。

ハーグのルートに何があるか

先へ進むと Museum Bredius にたどり着きます。多くのグループが、街の見え方が変わったことに気づくのはこのあたりです。

ハーグでの推理ゲームの進み方

歩いていると、物語のほうから近づいてきます。地点と地点のあいだでデジタルの登場人物に出会い、その一人ひとりが事件の一部だけを知っていて、それぞれが謎か、暗号か、写真ミッションを残していきます。正解するたびに容疑者のリストが短くなります。多くのグループは3〜4キロを1.5〜2時間で歩きますが、時計は動いていません。コーヒー休憩を挟んで、気が向いたら事件に戻ってください。シャーロックホームズを読んだ方なら手法はご存じのはずです。誰よりもよく見て、見えたものをそのまま言葉にする。それだけです。

ハーグでの家族・友人・チームの遊び方

子連れで。謎は八歳くらいから自分で読めます。子どもは大人が通り過ぎた壁の細部を見つけるのが得意で、暗号は結局みんなで解くことになります。美術館と教会が続いて飽きてしまったときの、ハーグ観光の逃げ道としても使えます。

友人と。チケット1枚でスマートフォン1台、4名まで遊べるので、順番待ちで立っている人が出ません。容疑者リストをめぐって言い合うところまでが中身です。

チームで。ハーグで複数のグループを同じ事件に送り出し、どこが先に着いたかをあとで比べてください。進行役も、押さえる会場も、全員を縛る開始時刻も要りません。だから懇親会や社員旅行の一コマとして成立します。

時間帯の予約は必要ですか？

日付だけです。実際に何時に始めるかはご自分で決められますし、ハーグのどこにも待っている人はいません。集合場所も、ガイドも、団体もありません。

子どもでも楽しめますか？

八歳くらいから遊べます。3〜4キロは子どもでも問題なく歩けますし、写真ミッションではたいてい子どもがいちばん速く、暗号は家族で一緒に解く部分になります。

雨が降ったらどうなりますか？

遊ぶ時間も止める時間もこちらで決められます。建物に入って通り過ぎるのを待ち、中断したところから事件を再開してください。進行状況は保存され、動いている時計もありません。

これは推理ゲームですか、それともハーグの街歩きですか？

よい散策ルートと同じようにハーグを歩かせてくれますし、歩きながら街を覚えます。違うのは、何かを探しているという点です。建物を見上げる理由としては、「見てください」と言われるよりこちらのほうが強く働きます。

    This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

    This was a fun game! It had a few challenges which was good and surprises. It got me to go around and explore Queenstown, New Zealand. I got to places in Queenstown, New Zealand I hadn’t been to before while on holiday here. Thank you for that and it gave a feel what it would be like to be the actual Sherlock Holmes!
