Work a detective murder case on foot through old Ankara, from the Rahmi M. Koç Müzesi past the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations to Ulus Meydanı.

遺体がひとつ、バルサザールという被害者がひとり、そしてアンカラの街をまだ歩いている犯人がひとり。ここから先はあなたの事件です。

ご自分のスマートフォンで動き、アンカラの街をそのまま盤面に使う推理ゲームです。手がかりを集め、デジタルの登場人物に質問し、暗号を破り、最後に犯人の名前を挙げます。つまり卓を囲まずに街へ持ち出したマダミスで、案内する人も、間に合わせる集合時刻も、一緒に動く団体もありません。

すべて徒歩で、歩いているあいだも物語は止まりません。マダミスを卓の上ではなく街でやる理由は、まさにそこにあります。

事件がアンカラのどこへ連れていくのか

終盤には、街を見る回数と同じくらい自分のメモを見返すことになります。はじめは背景にしか見えなかった二つ三つが、最後の判断を決めます。

アンカラのマダミスはこう動きます

道中で物語が少しずつ姿を見せます。地点と地点のあいだにいるデジタルの登場人物はそれぞれ何かを知っていますが、謎か暗号か写真ミッションを解かないと話してくれません。正解のたびに容疑者が一人消えます。通常は3〜4キロを1.5〜2時間、時計は動いていないので途中で食事に出ても何も失いません。手法はシャーロックホームズの事件簿にあるとおりで、まず誰よりもよく見て、それから見たものを飾らずに言う、という順番です。

アンカラを子連れで、友人と、チームで

友人と。1台のスマートフォンに4名まで、順番待ちは発生しません。2人で過ごす午後にも、予定がまとまらない大人数にも、同じように使えます。

チームで。4名につき1枚チケットを買い、アンカラで各グループを同じ事件に送り出して、あとで比べてください。ガイドも会場費も決まった時刻も不要なので、参加者が三々五々集まる懇親会の前後にも差し込めます。

子連れで。八歳くらいから。子どもは大人が通り過ぎた壁の細部を見つけますし、暗号は最後には家族全員で解くことになります。

アンカラのマダミスはどうやって遊ぶのですか？

Loquiz アプリをダウンロードし、アンカラの最初の地点まで行って、準備ができたら始めてください。そこから先は事件があなたと一緒に動きます。登場人物が情報を持って現れ、各地点が謎か暗号か写真の課題を出し、最後の答えが犯人になります。

所要時間はどのくらいですか？

グループの多くは1.5〜2時間かけ、3〜4キロを歩きます。計測はしていないので、途中の長いコーヒー休憩に費用はかかりません。事件のほうが待っています。

チケット1枚で何人まで遊べますか？

4名までが1台のスマートフォンと19.95ユーロのチケット1枚を共有します。4名を超えるならもう1枚。同じ事件に2チームというのは、そもそも遊び方としてこちらのほうが面白くなります。

時間帯の予約は必要ですか？

予約で決めるのは日にちだけ、時刻はお任せです。アンカラにはそのための集合場所もガイドも、参加すべき団体もありません。

子どもでも楽しめますか？

はい、八歳前後から遊べます。謎は解ける難度で、歩く距離が子どもにこたえることはありません。経験上、決め手になる細部に最初に気づくのはいちばん年下の参加者です。

雨が降ったらどうなりますか？

遊びたいときに遊び、止めたいときに止められます。軒下に入り、待って、また進めてください。すべて保存されていて、時計も動いていないので失うものはありません。

これは推理ゲームですか、それともアンカラの街歩きですか？

道のりとしてはアンカラを一周する街歩き、中身としては殺人事件です。街は歩きながら入ってきますが、解説されるわけではありません。ここで探すのはあなたなので、そのぶん記憶にも残ります。

    This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

    This was a fun game! It had a few challenges which was good and surprises. It got me to go around and explore Queenstown, New Zealand. I got to places in Queenstown, New Zealand I hadn’t been to before while on holiday here. Thank you for that and it gave a feel what it would be like to be the actual Sherlock Holmes!
