Visit the Sint-Pieterskerk (Sanit Peter's Church) and its Romanesque abbey, and explore unique artistic treasures such as paintings that date back to the 17th and 18th centuries! Grab a drink and enjoy the view from one of the café patios in Graslei; a former port located on the right bank of the Leie River, and have a look at its unique historical buildings and cityscapes. Go to Gravensteen castle which will take you away to medieval times. This 'Castle of Count' has many social and political histories of the city that you might want to explore.
