City Game Deventer Church

Lebuinus Church

It is a Gothic hall church, built between 1450 and 1525. The Calvinists took over in 1580 and they completely eliminated the interior decoration and renamed it the Great Church. Today, the temple belongs to the Protestant Church in the Netherlands, while the tower belongs to the Municipality.

Town Hall

The town hall of Deventer is located on the Grote Kerkhof opposite the Lebuïnuskerk in Deventer. Because the present town hall includes buildings and building components dating from different time periods, you get to experience various architectural styles. Wilhelminafontein

On the edge of the city, there is the fountain of Wilhelmina. The monument is the work of the architect of the city of Deventer J.A. Mulock Houwer. The construction of the fountain had been planned to start in 1893, because of the completion of the Deventer water pipeline. However, due to lack of funds the construction had to be abandoned. In 1898 the opportunity arose to install a fountain again.
