I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

How do you follow Elias Ståhl’s search?

Secrets of Linkoping asks you to join Elias Ståhl in reclaiming his Ultimate Magic Pencil. Your city game Linkoping passes the fountain at Järntorget, then Linköpings Kommun and afterwards the Nya Rådhuset tower with yellow brick stripes. These places accompany the route while the search gives your team a shared objective.

The game runs in your own phone browser, with no app required. Allow around 1.5 to 2 hours. Choose this story if you want an exploration built around a recovery task. Everyone can offer ideas about the clues while one person shares the information from the phone. You can look around and compare thoughts as the group follows the story at its own pace.

What route accompanies the detective story?

Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Linkoping gives your team a detective case using the free Loquiz app. You see Linköping University Hospital first, then Linköping's Castle- and Cathedral Museum and afterwards Linköping Cathedral. The game description names the cathedral as the place where the case begins before leading through the old centre.

Plan around 1.5 to 2 hours and use your own phone. Agree before starting whether a murder investigation is the task your group wants. The clues provide a common topic for everyone to discuss while walking together. One player can read out the information and all players can contribute ideas, keeping the selected story part of your shared outing as you go.

You can begin whenever you like and should reserve around 1.5 to 2 hours. Open Secrets of Linkoping in your browser or use the free Loquiz app for the murder mystery.
