How do I get my game?
Right after booking you receive an e-mail with your game link. Open it on the phone you will play with, on the day itself.
When can I start?
Whenever you like. There are no time slots: start the game when your team is ready.
How long does a game take?
Most games take 1.5 to 2.5 hours, depending on your pace and how often you stop for a coffee.
How many people can play?
One ticket is for one team of up to four people, playing on one phone. For more people, book one game per team.
What do I need?
A charged smartphone with mobile data and location turned on. Nothing to install: the game opens in your browser.
In which languages can I play?
Our games are available in up to 32 languages; you choose the language when you start.
Is it suitable for children?
Yes. Children love to play along; we recommend an adult in every team.
Can I pause the game?
Yes. Your progress is saved on your phone, so you can take a break and continue later the same day.
Can I cancel?
Yes, free of charge until you start the game. Once your team has started, it can no longer be cancelled or refunded. You do not book a date: your game is valid for 12 months.
Can I cancel a City Game Pass?
A pass can be cancelled free of charge until you start your first game with it.
Do I get an invoice?
Yes, every booking comes with an invoice by e-mail. Companies can add their company name, VAT number and reference.
How long is my ticket valid?
A single game can be played within 12 months of booking.
Does my gold expire?
Yes. Gold in your City Game account expires 12 months after your last game or your last order in the gold shop. Playing a game or ordering in the gold shop starts the 12 months again. We e-mail you 30 days before your gold expires. Gold earned before 26 October 2026 counts from 26 October 2026. Gold has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
