Greenland: city games
A City Game turns a walk through a city in Greenland into a self-guided game. You follow a route on your smartphone, solve puzzles at real landmarks and pick up the stories behind the streets as you go. City Games in Greenland are played in Nuuk.
You decide when to start. Stop for a coffee or a museum visit and continue whenever you like. A game usually takes 1.5 to 2 hours and covers 3 to 4 km on foot, which makes it an easy way to see the highlights of a city in Greenland in a single afternoon.

Nuuk is the smallest capital in the world by population and the one with the largest backdrop. The colonial harbour keeps wooden houses, a cathedral and the national museum with its preserved Qilakitsoq mummies, while the newer town rises in blocks against the mountains. Fjord water, fishing boats and Sermitsiaq mountain are visible from most of the route.
Weather turns quickly and wind off the fjord is cold even in summer, so pack a windproof layer. Daylight swings from almost none in winter to almost all day in June. Compare all City Games or browse all our destinations to pick your next city.
