Wir (Mein Mann, unsere 9-jährige Tochter und ich) haben heute ganz spontan das Spiel "Moordmysterie Düsseldorf" gebucht und gespielt. Die Buchung verlief schnell und reibungslos. Es hat super viel Spaß gemacht! Die Story, die Rätsel, das Konzept, die Route, die Gestaltung der App... richtig gut!!! Das Spiel würde ich vor allem Familien mit Kindern empfehlen. Für Erwachsene waren die Rätsel (meiner Meinung nach) zu einfach. Aber trotzdem wegen der schönen Route durch Düsseldorf, der Story, den lustigen Anweisungen zwischendurch eine schöne Aktion, die man zusammen machen kann.

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

Norrköping has a turbulent past. In 1719 Russian troops raiding the Swedish coast burned the city almost to the ground. It rose again as an industrial town, and for a long time its textile mills along the Motala ström made it one of the most important factory cities in Sweden.
Today those tall brick buildings and the rushing water give the centre a moody, almost gothic look on a dark autumn evening. Halloween has become popular in Sweden over the past decades, with costumes and parties, and on the weekend of All Saints' Day many people light candles on graves. Walk the old streets after sunset and the city sets the scene for you.

Halloween Norrkoping: the route of the game
Secrets of Norrkoping is a puzzle adventure about the city's grand architectural dream. You help Johann III find the Lost Keystone, solving riddles and photo tasks as you walk. It runs in the browser on your own phone, no app needed.
On the way you pass the church of Sankt Olai, a lecture hall known as the Hörsal, and an old coffeehouse in the centre. Later the route takes you to Norrköping’s City Library and to Kyrkan vid Vasaparken. Between the stops you see the river and the brick architecture that make the city stand out. The game takes 1.5 to 2 hours, and in the evening dark the search for the Keystone feels like a real quest.
