I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

Ghost stories and Halloween traditions in New York
New York takes Halloween seriously. Since 1973 the Village Halloween Parade has filled the streets of Greenwich Village on the evening of 31 October, and brownstone stoops all over the city are covered in pumpkins and fake cobwebs.
The city has its share of dark stories too. Washington Square Park was once a potter's field, and many thousands of people are said to still lie buried beneath it. The Merchant's House Museum on East Fourth Street is often called the most haunted house in Manhattan, with tales of Gertrude Tredwell, who lived there until 1933. Washington Irving, who wrote The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, was born in Manhattan in 1783.

How the New York murder mystery works
The Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in New York is a detective game you play on foot. The story is based on Sherlock Holmes: a murder has taken place, and your team has to work out who did it. You walk through the city, question witnesses through your phone, collect clues and solve riddles and photo tasks as you go.
You set the pace, so a coffee or a slice of pizza along the way is no problem. The game suits friends, couples, families with older children and colleagues. At the end you name the killer and find out whether your theory holds.
