Exploring Kosovo

Kosovo’s towns are small and layered. Prizren sits under a hilltop fortress, with an Ottoman bridge, a mosque, an orthodox church and a catholic cathedral within a few hundred metres of each other. Ferizaj is younger and more everyday: a main street made for the evening walk, a railway that shaped the town and a mosque and church standing side by side.

Distances are short and coffee is the local way of measuring time, so build in a stop. Summers are hot and the climb to the fortress in Prizren is steep. Compare all City Games or browse all our destinations to pick your next city.

Plan on 1.5 to 2 hours and a walk of 3 to 4 km. You can pause at any moment and continue later.

How City Game works in Kosovo

You book your game online and receive a confirmation email with everything you need. Open the game on your phone when you are ready and start whenever it suits you — no guide is waiting and there is no fixed departure time. Stop for a coffee or a museum along the way and pick up where you left off.

Who is City Game in Kosovo for?

A City Game works for friends, family, couples and colleagues, and just as well on your own. You play in teams on one phone, and several teams can walk the same route at the same time, which is why it is often used for birthdays, team outings and family days. Children join in easily as long as an adult reads along.
