France: city games
A City Game turns a walk through a city in France into a self-guided game. You follow a route on your smartphone, solve puzzles at real landmarks and pick up the stories behind the streets as you go. City Games run in 17 cities in France, from Paris and Lyon to Bordeaux, and in smaller towns such as Annecy and Saint-Tropez.
You decide when to start. Stop for a coffee or a museum visit and continue whenever you like. A game usually takes 1.5 to 2 hours and covers 3 to 4 km on foot, which makes it an easy way to see the highlights of a city in France in a single afternoon.
