I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

Which stories can four colleagues follow?

Secrets of Tallinn asks you to help Vana Thomas recover a sacred arrow. The walk passes the Cross of Liberty and the Baltic Way memorial plaque. You play in the browser on your own phone, with no app needed, in teams of at most four. Keep your group's presence respectful at memorial places while following the activity.

Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Tallinn follows a case from Freedom Square to Toompea Castle and down to the Town Hall. It also allows four players per team but uses the free Loquiz app. Choose the story your colleagues prefer, then arrange teams and prepare their devices. Everyone can offer ideas while each team guides itself through the walk.

What outdoor escape game fits five players?

The Tallinn Syndicate (outdoor escape game) follows Magnus and the stolen formulas past Raekoja plats, Holy Spirit Church and Gustav Adolfi Gümnaasium. It allows at most five players sharing one phone with the free Loquiz app. Colleagues guide themselves through the old town and follow the story at their team's pace.

This player limit gives your organiser another way to divide colleagues into small groups. Everyone can help with decisions around the phone, keeping the outdoor chase shared across the team. Choose it when that story sounds right for the outing. Keep competition friendly and allow different approaches while each team follows its self-guided activity on its own device.

How can a larger group coordinate bookings?

A game costs €19.95 per team and takes 1.5 to 2 hours. Count teams within the four-player legend and detective limit, or five for the outdoor escape game. Every team uses its own phone. Larger groups can ask for a group quote on the website.

Teams can begin at the same time and compare scores. Select your story first, assign colleagues within its limit and check the required phone setup. You may start whenever you want, every day, and the booking stays valid for 12 months. Agree a shared start and leave room for the walk while teams follow the self-guided activity on their own phones.

Can teams begin together and compare results?

Yes. Teams can start at the same time and compare scores, each using its own phone.

Which choice works without an app?

Secrets of Tallinn runs in the browser on your own phone, with no app needed.

What should a five-person team choose?

The Tallinn Syndicate (outdoor escape game) allows at most five players per team.

How do we request pricing for a larger group?

Larger groups can ask for a group quote on the website.
