I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

Where can explorers or detectives follow a story?
Secrets of Koblenz starts at Historiensäule with puzzles, riddles and photo tasks along the route. You also see Liebfrauenkirche and Deutsches Eck on the walk. Colleagues guide themselves on a shared phone, offering observations and ideas as they explore together. It suits a group that wants varied tasks during its outing.
Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Koblenz follows a case from Am Plan down to Deutsches Eck through the old town. Choose it when your colleagues prefer a detective story to discuss. Both games use the free Loquiz app and allow at most four players per team. Prepare one phone for every team and invite everyone to help decide how to approach the activity.

What outdoor escape game fits five players?
The Koblenz Syndicate (outdoor escape game) follows Magnus and the stolen formulas past Löhrstraße, Herz-Jesu-Kirche and Kurfürstliches Schloss Koblenz. It uses the free Loquiz app on one phone and allows at most five players per team. Your colleagues guide themselves through the streets and follow the outdoor story at their own pace.
The five-player limit gives your organiser another way to divide the group into small teams. Everyone can contribute ideas while one person handles the screen, keeping the chase shared around the phone. Choose it when an outdoor escape story is the focus your colleagues want. Keep rivalry friendly and prepare a device for every team before gathering to begin the activity together.
How can a larger group coordinate the outing?
Each Koblenz game costs €19.95 per team and lasts 1.5 to 2 hours. Count teams within the four-player exploration and detective limit, or five for the outdoor escape game, with one phone for each team. Larger groups can ask for a group quote on the website.
All teams can start at the same time and compare scores. Choose a story before assigning colleagues so the groups fit its limit, then prepare their phones. You can begin whenever you want, every day, with a booking valid for 12 months. Agree a shared start and allow room for the walk in the outing's plans, while each team follows the self-guided activity on its own device.
Can our teams begin at once?
