I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

Where can our exploration or detective teams walk?
Secrets of Luxembourg City begins at the Centre municipal and winds through the old town with puzzles to solve. Your colleagues guide themselves on a shared phone, discussing observations and ideas as they follow the exploration activity. Choose this option when varied city tasks are the focus your group wants for the outing.
Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Luxembourg City follows a case from the Centre municipal to Palais Grand-Ducal and the Bock casemates. It gives colleagues a detective story to discuss while walking at their own pace. Both choices use the free Loquiz app and allow at most four players per team. Prepare a phone for every team and invite everyone to help with decisions.

Which outdoor escape story allows five colleagues?
The Luxembourg City Syndicate (outdoor escape game) follows Magnus and the stolen formulas past Place de la Constitution, Pont Adolphe and Place de Clairefontaine. It allows at most five players sharing a phone with the free Loquiz app. Colleagues guide themselves through the streets and follow the story at their team's pace.
That different limit offers your organiser another way to divide colleagues into small groups. Everyone can suggest ideas while one person handles the screen, keeping the chase a shared activity around the phone. Choose it when an outdoor escape story sounds right for the outing. Keep competition friendly and prepare each team's device before meeting so everyone is ready for the walking challenge.
What should we budget and how can we start?
A game costs €19.95 per team and lasts 1.5 to 2 hours. Calculate how many teams you need within the four-player exploration and detective limit, or five for the outdoor escape game. Each team needs its own phone. Larger groups can ask for a group quote on the website.
All teams can begin at the same time and compare scores. Select the story before assigning colleagues so the groups fit its player limit, then prepare the phones. You may start whenever you want on any day, with a booking valid for 12 months. Agree a shared beginning and allow time for the walk while teams follow the self-guided activity on their own devices.
