I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

How we check reviews

These reviews were left by players on Google and other review sites and are copied from there as they are, with their source.

Which exploration game offers varied tasks?

Secrets of Malaga combines puzzles and photo tasks with stories about the cathedral, the Roman theatre and the old town. It allows at most four players sharing one phone with the free Loquiz app. Colleagues guide themselves through the activity, discussing observations and approaches as they walk. Choose it when varied exploration tasks sound right for your outing. Everyone can contribute to decisions, keeping the challenge shared around the phone rather than leaving all the activity to the person handling the screen.

Where can our detective team follow a case?

Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Malaga follows a case through the centre from Plaza de la Constitución past the Alcazaba. It uses the free Loquiz app on your own phone and allows at most four players per team. Colleagues can discuss the mystery while guiding themselves through the walk at their own pace. Pick this story when investigating together sounds like the focus your group wants. Prepare a phone for every team and encourage everyone to suggest ideas during the shared detective activity.

What outdoor escape game accommodates five colleagues?

The Malaga Syndicate (outdoor escape game) follows Magnus and the stolen formulas past Plaza de la Constitución, Plaza del Obispo and Ayuntamiento de Málaga. It allows at most five players sharing a phone with the free Loquiz app. Colleagues guide themselves through the streets and take the story at their team's pace. That limit offers another way to arrange your group into small teams. Keep competition friendly and let everyone contribute to decisions while the outdoor chase gives the outing a common focus.

How do we organise the team count and budget?

Each game costs €19.95 per team and takes 1.5 to 2 hours. Plan teams within the four-player exploration and detective limit, or five for the outdoor escape game, and prepare one phone per team. Larger groups can ask for a group quote on the website. All teams can start at the same time and compare scores. You can begin whenever you want, every day, with a booking valid for 12 months. Choose a game, assign colleagues and agree a shared start with room for the walk.

Can our teams begin at once?

Yes. Teams can start at the same time and compare scores, each using its own phone.

Which game has photo tasks?

Secrets of Malaga combines exploration puzzles and photo tasks on a self-guided city walk.

Can five colleagues play together?

The Malaga Syndicate (outdoor escape game) allows at most five players per team. The other choices allow four.

How do we request a larger group quote?
