I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

Which games suit teams of up to four?
Secrets of Hanoi starts on Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square and winds through the old quarter with puzzles. The route also takes you past the Hanoi People's Committee Building. Colleagues guide themselves on a shared phone, offering observations as they approach the exploration activity together during their walk.
Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Hanoi follows a case through the Ba Dinh quarter from Ba Dinh Square to the lanes by Truc Bach lake. Choose it when colleagues want a detective story to discuss during the outing. Both games use the free Loquiz app and allow at most four players per team. Prepare a phone for every team and let everyone help with decisions rather than relying only on the screen holder.

What outdoor escape story fits five colleagues?
The Hanoi Syndicate (outdoor escape game) follows Magnus and the stolen formulas past Nhà Thờ Lớn Hà Nội, Phố Hàng Trống and Hoàn Kiếm Lake. It allows at most five players sharing one phone with the free Loquiz app. Colleagues guide themselves through the streets and take the story at their team's pace.
This limit offers your organiser another way to divide colleagues into small groups. Everyone can help make decisions around the phone, keeping the outdoor chase shared across the team. Choose it when that story fits your outing. Keep rivalry relaxed and prepare each team's device before gathering so colleagues are ready to follow the chosen walking activity together.
How do we arrange the team budget and beginning?
Each game costs €19.95 per team and takes 1.5 to 2 hours. Count teams within the four-player exploration and detective limit, or five for the outdoor escape game. Every team uses its own phone. Larger groups can ask for a group quote on the website.
All teams can begin at the same time and compare scores. Select the story first, assign colleagues within its limit and prepare their devices. You can start whenever you want, every day, with a booking valid for 12 months. Agree a shared beginning and allow room for the walk while teams follow the self-guided activity on their own phones.
