Frondy des Chiens

This beautiful nature reserve is located near the town of Nismes in the Viroin-Hermeton Natural Park. You can check out a narrow gorge up to 20 meters deep is a biotope with a great biodiversity. For millions of years, this canyon was formed by the erosion of rainwater. Due to the special soil conditions, a gorge with large boulders was formed here. The “Fondry des Chiens” is a nature reserve and is considered a natural monument.

The City of Namur is a fortress in the city of Namur in Belgium and is one of the largest fortifications in Europe, with a total area of over 80 hectares.
