I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

Which sword quest runs without an app?
Secrets of Schwerin asks you to help Paul Friedrich reclaim his ceremonial sword. The route passes the Schlossbrücke at Schwerin Castle, the Former Collegiate Building and the Colonnade Building. It runs in the browser on your own phone, with no app needed, and allows at most four players per team.
Choose this story when your friends want clues to discuss while exploring together. One person handles the screen, but everyone can offer observations and ideas about the next step. Follow the self-guided activity at your own pace. Arrange several teams if more guests are attending, with a phone for every small group, making the quest a shared opening to your celebration within the player limit.

Where can our detective team investigate?
Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Schwerin follows a case from Marktplatz and the cathedral to the castle on the lake. It uses the free Loquiz app on your own phone and allows at most four players per team. Your friends can discuss the mystery while guiding themselves through the walk at their own pace.
Pick this option if your bachelor or bachelorette group enjoys investigating together. Decide which friends will share each team phone and invite everyone to suggest ideas. Keep competition between groups relaxed as the detective story gives the celebration a common focus. No guide leads the group or makes its next decisions, leaving each team to work through the case and discuss how to proceed together.
What do we arrange for cost and the start?
Each Schwerin game costs €19.95 per team and takes 1.5 to 2 hours. At most four players share one team phone. Count the teams your guests need before booking, since a larger party requires several team bookings and devices within that limit.
You can begin whenever you want, every day, and the booking is valid for 12 months. Choose the sword quest or detective case first, assign friends and check the phone setup. The quest runs in a browser, while the mystery uses an app. Agree a start together and leave room for the walk within your plans. These self-guided activities let your group organise its own beginning and follow the chosen story together.
