I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

Is Halloween celebrated in Casablanca?
Halloween is not a Moroccan tradition, so do not expect pumpkins on every doorstep in Casablanca. Some international schools, hotels and expat groups hold their own parties, but for most people in the city 31 October is an ordinary autumn evening.
That makes a game in the streets a good way to give the night some suspense. Morocco has its own spooky folklore: stories of djinn, the unseen spirits of popular belief, and of Aisha Qandisha, the spirit woman of Moroccan legend who is said to lure men near water. You will not meet her on our route, but a mystery after dark fits the mood well.

Which Halloween game can you play in Casablanca?
In Casablanca you play the Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Casablanca, a detective story based on Sherlock Holmes. You walk, look for clues, answer questions and work out who did it. It takes 1.5 to 2 hours and costs €19.95 per team: one phone, at most 4 players. You play it in the free Loquiz app.
Our ghost game Ghost Hunters is coming to Casablanca. It is not here yet, but you can leave your e-mail address on this page and we will let you know when it starts. Until then, the murder mystery is the best fit for a halloween Casablanca outing, and HALLOWEEN50 gives you 50% off until 2 November.
What do you see on the route?
The game starts at the Hassan II Mosque, and the first clues send you past the Hassan II Mosque Museum before you head into town. On the way you pass the white Cathédrale Sacré Coeur, a church built in the colonial era that no longer holds services, its towers looking pale and empty against an evening sky.
Later you come by the Casablanca School of Fine Arts and the long avenues of the Parc de la Ligue Arabe, where palm trees throw long shadows once the sun goes down. In late October the early dusk gives every corner a slightly eerie feel.
Who is it for and how do you start?
The game suits friends, couples, families with older children and colleagues looking for a different evening out. Each team plays on one phone with at most 4 players, so a larger group simply splits into several teams and races each other through the same streets.
You book online, download the free Loquiz app and start whenever you want, on any day. No guide waits for you and nobody sets a fixed time. Bring a charged phone, comfortable shoes and a light jacket for the sea breeze.
