Wir (Mein Mann, unsere 9-jährige Tochter und ich) haben heute ganz spontan das Spiel "Moordmysterie Düsseldorf" gebucht und gespielt. Die Buchung verlief schnell und reibungslos. Es hat super viel Spaß gemacht! Die Story, die Rätsel, das Konzept, die Route, die Gestaltung der App... richtig gut!!! Das Spiel würde ich vor allem Familien mit Kindern empfehlen. Für Erwachsene waren die Rätsel (meiner Meinung nach) zu einfach. Aber trotzdem wegen der schönen Route durch Düsseldorf, der Story, den lustigen Anweisungen zwischendurch eine schöne Aktion, die man zusammen machen kann.

I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

What dark history does Cadiz have?
Cadiz is one of the oldest cities in Western Europe, founded by Phoenician traders around three thousand years ago. Its long life on a narrow strip of land surrounded by the sea has brought hard times too. Around 1800 yellow fever swept through the city and killed thousands of people.
From 1810 to 1812 French troops besieged Cadiz, and inside the walls the Spanish parliament wrote the Constitution of 1812. The monuments to the heroes of 1812 and to the constitution are on the route. The Castillo de Santa Catalina guarded the coast for centuries and also served as a military prison. On a dark October evening, with the wind coming off the Atlantic and the lanes almost empty, that history feels very close.

Secrets of Cadiz runs in the browser on your own phone, no app needed. You help Paco Alba recover the lost copla of the carnival, walking from the Balneario de la Palma through the Parque Genovés to the Plaza de Falla.
Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Cadiz is a detective case played with the free Loquiz app. You pass the Catedral de Cádiz, the Gran Teatro Falla and the Oratorio de la Santa Cueva. The story is based on Sherlock Holmes.
The Cadiz Syndicate (outdoor escape game) is an outdoor alternative to an escape room for 2 to 5 players, also with the Loquiz app. You hunt Magnus and the stolen formulas from the Plaza Topete through the Pasaje Arco de la Rosa into the Barrio del Pópulo.
How is Halloween celebrated in Cadiz, and how does the game work?
In Spain the end of October leads up to All Saints' Day on 1 November, when many families visit the graves of their loved ones. Cadiz also has its own old custom called Tosantos, when market stalls are decorated with dressed-up fruit and vegetables. Halloween costumes and pumpkins have become more common in recent years as well.
