I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

Where can colleagues explore with puzzles?

Secrets of Duisburg starts on Alter Markt and guides you through the old centre with puzzles to solve. The route also passes Skulpturenpark Lehmbruck Museum and the Church of Our Saviour. At most four players share a phone using the free Loquiz app. This self-guided exploration option gives colleagues tasks to discuss while they walk. Invite everyone to share an observation or suggest an approach, keeping the activity shared within the team as you follow the game at your own pace.

Which walk offers a detective case?

Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Duisburg takes your team from Rathaus down to Innenhafen and back. At most four colleagues can share one phone, following the detective story in the free Loquiz app. You guide yourselves through the activity, discussing what to do next while walking at your own pace. Choose this option if your group likes investigating a mystery together. Each team needs its own phone, and everyone can contribute ideas rather than leaving all the decisions to the person holding the screen.

What can a five-player team choose outdoors?

The Duisburg Syndicate (outdoor escape game) follows Magnus and the stolen formulas past Alter Markt, Froschkönigbrunnen and Burgplatz. It allows at most five players sharing a team phone with the free Loquiz app. Colleagues guide themselves through the streets and follow the story at their own pace. This player limit offers another way to divide your group into small teams. Keep competition friendly and invite everyone to help make decisions as the outdoor chase gives your outing a common focus.

How do we organise the teams and company budget?

Each game costs €19.95 per team and takes 1.5 to 2 hours. Count teams within the four-player exploration and detective limit, or five for the outdoor escape game, with one phone per team. Larger groups can ask for a group quote on the website. All teams can start at the same time and compare scores. You may begin whenever you want, every day, and the booking is valid for 12 months. Choose a story, arrange colleagues and agree a shared start with time for the walk.

Can teams compare their results?

Yes. Teams can start at the same time and compare scores, each playing on its own phone.

Which option fits five colleagues?

The Duisburg Syndicate (outdoor escape game) allows at most five players per team. The other games allow four.

How do we arrange a larger group price?

Larger groups can ask for a group quote on the website.

Do all the games need an app?

Yes. Each game uses the free Loquiz app on your own team phone.
