I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

Which quest follows the poet’s notebook?

Secrets of Sorrento asks your team to help Torquato Tasso recover the notebook holding the final verses of his lost masterpiece. The game runs in your phone’s browser without an app. You pass the Basilica of Saint Anthony Abbot, the Statue of Saint Anthony and Marina Piccola Viewpoint along the route. The fictional search gives colleagues a common goal while exploring together. Share the prompts and hear different suggestions before choosing an answer. Teams of at most four keep the discussion open to each person rather than leave all decisions with one confident player. The story supplies the activity while your colleagues bring their observations and ideas to the walk.

Where does the detective story lead?

Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Sorrento takes your team from the Basilica of Saint Anthony to Piazza Tasso. On the walk you also see Marina Piccola Viewpoint. You investigate through the free Loquiz app, with one phone for at most four players. Choose this case if colleagues enjoy discussing a mystery as the focus of their outing. Read prompts together so everyone can follow the story and offer an idea before deciding. The small team gives quieter suggestions a hearing alongside the quick answers. A continuing case provides the walk’s shared purpose while colleagues take turns leading the conversation between the decisions they make together.

What should you arrange for several teams?

Both Sorrento games cost €19.95 per team and take 1.5 to 2 hours. You can start whenever you want, every day, within the booking’s 12-month validity. Form teams of at most four, each with a phone. They can all begin at the same time and compare scores after playing. Prepare the browser for the notebook quest or the free Loquiz app for the detective case before gathering. Larger groups can ask for a group quote on the website. Give the complete walk enough time in your schedule so colleagues can enjoy solving together before you continue with the outing’s other arrangements.
