I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

What can teams of four explore or investigate?

Secrets of Jerez De La Frontera combines puzzles and photo tasks with a walk past the cathedral, Real Iglesia De San Dionisio Areopagita and Plaza del Arenal. Colleagues guide themselves on a shared phone and contribute observations as they approach the exploration activity together.

Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Jerez De La Frontera follows a case from the cathedral past the Alcazar to Plaza del Arenal. Choose it when your colleagues prefer a detective story to discuss during the walk. Both games use the free Loquiz app and allow at most four players per team. Prepare a phone for every team and invite everyone to suggest ideas rather than relying only on the screen holder.

Which outdoor escape story allows five players?

The Jerez De La Frontera Syndicate (outdoor escape game) follows Magnus and the stolen formulas from Plaza del Arenal to Alameda Vieja. You also pass Iglesia de San Miguel. It allows at most five players sharing one phone with the free Loquiz app. Colleagues guide themselves through the story at their team's pace.

This player limit gives your organiser another way to arrange colleagues into small groups. Everyone can help with decisions around the phone, keeping the outdoor chase a shared activity. Pick it when that story fits the outing. Keep rivalry relaxed and make room for different approaches while each team follows its chosen walking game on its own device.

How do we coordinate a larger group booking?

A game costs €19.95 per team and lasts 1.5 to 2 hours. Calculate team numbers within the four-player exploration and detective limit, or five for the outdoor escape option. Each team needs its own phone. Larger groups can ask for a group quote on the website.

All teams can begin at the same time and compare scores. Select the story before assigning colleagues so the groups fit its limit, then prepare their devices. You may start whenever you want on any day, with a booking valid for 12 months. Agree a shared start and allow time for the walk while teams follow the self-guided activity themselves.
