I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

Which places connect the detective route?
Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Klagenfurt leads your team from the Lindwurmbrunnen across Alter Platz to the cathedral. You investigate on foot through the free Loquiz app. Choose this activity if your friends enjoy discussing a mystery as the focus of their walk. Read each prompt together so everyone can follow the story and offer a suggestion before the team decides. The case gives the route a shared purpose without one person needing to explain a tour to the others. Between decisions, the walking time leaves room to talk. Your small group can bring different approaches to the investigation while keeping the activity something you work through together.

How should you divide the party group?
The Klagenfurt detective game permits at most four players to share one phone per team. Arrange a larger bachelor or bachelorette gathering into suitable teams and agree on who brings a device before meeting. Take turns reading the prompts so the responsibility does not stay with one person throughout the walk. Give quieter friends time to explain suggestions alongside the quick answers. A small team makes that conversation easier to share than a discussion involving the full party at once. You can bring a competitive spirit while keeping the mood sociable. The case provides the task, and your friends bring the different ideas that make it a shared activity from the start.
What do you need to arrange beforehand?
The game costs €19.95 per team and lasts 1.5 to 2 hours. Starting is flexible every day, and the booking is valid for 12 months. Prepare the free Loquiz app and arrange one phone for each team of at most four players. Settle the team division before friends gather so you can focus on playing when everyone is ready to walk. Leave enough space for the full activity in your celebration plans rather than treating it as a brief stop. Your friends can then discuss the case without rushing between other arrangements. After this shared opening challenge, continue with the rest of the stag or hen day you have organised.
Which app does the game use?
