I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

What does the exploration game offer friends?
Secrets of Osnabruck combines puzzles and photo tasks with a self-guided walk around Marktplatz, city hall and the old town. It uses the free Loquiz app on one phone and allows at most four players per team. Friends can share observations as they follow the activity at their own pace.
Choose this option when varied exploration tasks sound right for your group. One person holds the screen, but everyone can offer ideas and help decide how to approach the activity. Guide yourselves through the walk and keep the conversation open to the whole team. Arrange several small teams with their own devices if more friends want to join, making the walk a shared start to your celebration.

Which outdoor chase can five friends follow?
The Osnabruck Syndicate (outdoor escape game) takes your team after Magnus and the stolen formulas past Markt, Dom St. Petrus and Hasetorwall. It uses the free Loquiz app and allows at most five players sharing one phone. Friends guide themselves through the story outdoors and walk at their own pace.
This player limit gives you another way to arrange a bachelor or bachelorette guest list into small teams. Everyone can suggest ideas while one person handles the phone, keeping decisions shared across the group. Pick it when an outdoor escape story fits your celebration. Keep rivalry relaxed and prepare each team's device before gathering so all the groups are ready to follow the walking activity together.
How do we organise the budget and beginning?
A game costs €19.95 per team and lasts 1.5 to 2 hours. Calculate team numbers within the four-player exploration limit, or five for the outdoor escape game. Every team needs one phone, so larger parties require several bookings and devices within those limits.
You may start whenever you want on any day, with a booking valid for 12 months. Choose the story before assigning friends so the teams fit its size, then prepare the phones with the app. Agree a start together and allow enough room for the walk within your day's plans. These self-guided activities let your group organise its own beginning and follow the chosen story together without a guide leading the teams.
Which option includes photo tasks?
Secrets of Osnabruck combines exploration puzzles and photo tasks during a self-guided city walk.
Can five friends share a team?
The Osnabruck Syndicate (outdoor escape game) allows at most five players per team. The exploration game allows four.
Do both games use an app?
Yes. Both choices use the free Loquiz app on your own team phone.
Is the price charged per guest?
The price is €19.95 per team within the selected game's player limit, using one phone.
