I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

What can friends explore with puzzles and photo tasks?
Secrets of Cordoba combines puzzles and photo tasks with a self-guided walk past Puerta de Almodóvar and the Alcázar. It runs in the browser on your own phone, with no app needed, and allows at most four players per team. Your friends can share observations while following the activity at their own pace.
Choose this option when varied walking tasks sound right for your group. One person handles the screen, but everyone can suggest an approach and help decide what to do next. Guide yourselves through the game and keep the conversation open to the whole team. Arrange several small groups with their own phones if more friends want to join, making the challenge a shared beginning within the player limit.

Where does the detective case lead our team?
Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Cordoba follows a case through the old centre from Plaza de las Tendillas to Plaza de la Corredera. It uses the free Loquiz app on your own phone and allows at most four players per team. Friends can discuss the mystery while guiding themselves through the walk at their own pace.
Pick this story when your bachelor or bachelorette group wants to investigate together. Decide which friends will share each team phone and invite everyone to offer ideas during the game. Keep competition relaxed, giving the celebration a common detective focus. No guide leads the group or makes its next decisions, leaving each team to work through the story and discuss how to proceed together throughout the walk.
How do we organise time, bookings and the start?
Each Cordoba game costs €19.95 per team and takes 1.5 to 2 hours. At most four players share one team phone. Count the teams your guests need before booking, since a larger party requires several bookings and devices within that player limit.
You can begin whenever you want, every day, and the booking stays valid for 12 months. Choose the exploration game or detective story first, assign friends and check the phone setup. Exploration runs in a browser, while the mystery uses an app. Agree a start together and leave enough room for the walk in your celebration plans. These self-guided activities let your group organise its own beginning and follow the chosen story together.
