I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

Which detective route includes the old town hall?
Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Nuremberg lists Frauenkirche Nürnberg, Spielzeugmuseum Nürnberg, Weißgerbergasse and Altes Rathaus among its stops. Your team investigates a fictional case on foot at its own pace and allows 1.5 to 2 hours for the activity. The town hall is one point in the broader route while the story gives your companions a common task. Choose this game for a detective focus during your city walk. Any independent building visit can be planned separately around playing. The real places provide the route and the imagined case supplies the investigation, giving your group something to discuss as you move between the city points together.

How do you follow the case without a guide?
Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Nuremberg uses the free Loquiz app on your own phone and is self-guided. One device carries the instructions, but everyone in the team can help with the reasoning. Read what the screen asks so the person holding it is not the only one who knows the next task. Friends can compare theories, a couple can solve side by side, and colleagues can share an activity outside. Your group follows the story without a guide leading the walk. Keep independent sightseeing as separate parts of the day so the full playing time stays available for the route and its fictional investigation, with room for everyone’s suggestions.
What does one team pay and when can it begin?
The Nuremberg game costs €19.95 per team for at most 4 players sharing one phone. You can start whenever you want, every day, within 12 months of validity. Choose a suitable day with your companions and leave room for the whole activity alongside your other plans. Prepare Loquiz on the device your group will use and agree to share each task throughout play. That keeps the outing a team experience rather than one person’s job on the screen. You follow the self-guided case without meeting a guide at a fixed departure, comparing possible answers and making decisions together as the story moves between the places on its route.
