Wir (Mein Mann, unsere 9-jährige Tochter und ich) haben heute ganz spontan das Spiel "Moordmysterie Düsseldorf" gebucht und gespielt. Die Buchung verlief schnell und reibungslos. Es hat super viel Spaß gemacht! Die Story, die Rätsel, das Konzept, die Route, die Gestaltung der App... richtig gut!!! Das Spiel würde ich vor allem Familien mit Kindern empfehlen. Für Erwachsene waren die Rätsel (meiner Meinung nach) zu einfach. Aber trotzdem wegen der schönen Route durch Düsseldorf, der Story, den lustigen Anweisungen zwischendurch eine schöne Aktion, die man zusammen machen kann.

I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

What does the Terneuzen scavenger story include?
Secrets of Terneuzen combines riddles, photo tasks and stories about the Markt, harbour and Scheldt. Its first stops are Willibrordustoren, the Major Alida M. Bosshardt Statue and Ode aan de Schelde, which you see on the route. You play in the free Loquiz app on your own phone, with up to four people in one team. This scavenger hunt Terneuzen option takes 1.5 to 2 hours and brings different tasks into the walk. You can share observations, compare possible answers and work on photo challenges together while exploring. Your own group sets the walking pace and decides how to approach the tasks as you follow the game.

Where can you follow a case or stolen formulas?
Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Terneuzen follows a detective story from Stadhuis to Scheldetheater and Scheldeboulevard. Along its route you first see Grote Kerk Terneuzen, Stadhuis Terneuzen and Scheldetheater. The Terneuzen Syndicate (outdoor escape game) instead tracks Magnus and stolen formulas from Arsenaalplein past Willibrordustoren. Its first stops include Willibrordustoren, Grote Kerk Terneuzen and Standbeeld van Frank Koulen. Both stories take 1.5 to 2 hours and run in the free Loquiz app. Compare the themes with the others and decide whether your team wants detective work or stolen formulas as its shared task. You explore together on foot and can discuss ideas at your own walking pace.
How do you organise the team and start?
Each Terneuzen game costs €19.95 per team on one phone. Secrets and the murder mystery permit up to four players per team; the Syndicate game permits up to five. All three need the free Loquiz app. Your booking remains valid for 12 months, and you can begin any day whenever you want. Before your scavenger hunt Terneuzen outing, choose the story and check its team limit. Share one device for the tasks and discuss possible answers with the others. You choose the walking pace and start time, making the game part of the day you want to spend exploring the town together on foot with your group.
