I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

Which games suit teams of up to four colleagues?

Secrets of Vienna brings puzzles and photo tasks to a self-guided walk past Stephansdom, Ruprechtskirche and the Freda-Meissner-Blau Promenade. Colleagues can share observations and discuss how to approach the activity on one team phone. It suits a group that wants varied exploration tasks as part of its outing.

Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Vienna follows a case through the first district from Hofburg to Stephansdom. Pick it when your colleagues want a detective story to work through together. Both games use the free Loquiz app and allow at most four players per team. Arrange a phone for every team and let everyone offer ideas, rather than leaving decisions only to the screen holder.

What outdoor escape game accommodates five colleagues?

The Vienna Syndicate (outdoor escape game) follows Magnus and the stolen formulas past Pestsäule, Peterskirche and Ankeruhr. It allows at most five players per team using one phone with the free Loquiz app. You guide yourselves through the streets and follow the outdoor story at your own pace.

That player limit gives your organiser another way to divide colleagues into small teams. Each team needs its own phone, and everyone can help make decisions around the screen. Choose the chase when your group wants an outdoor escape story as the shared focus for its outing. Keep the competition friendly, making room for different approaches as teams work through their chosen activity together.

How can a larger group start and compare results?

Each Vienna game costs €19.95 per team and takes 1.5 to 2 hours. Count your teams within the four-player exploration and detective limit, or five for the outdoor escape game. Every team plays on its own phone, so arrange devices for each small group before the outing begins.

All teams can start at the same time and compare their scores. For a larger group, ask for a group quote on the website. You can start whenever you want, every day, and the booking is valid for 12 months. Choose a story first, organise the teams and prepare the phones. Then agree a shared start and allow time for the walking activity in your plans.

Can our teams begin together?

Yes. Teams can start at the same time, each using its own phone, and compare their scores.

What can a team of five colleagues play?

The Vienna Syndicate (outdoor escape game) allows at most five players per team. The other games allow four.

How do we arrange a larger company group?

Ask for a group quote on the website. Each team plays on its own phone within the chosen game's player limit.

Do we need to prepare an app?

All three games use the free Loquiz app on your own team phone.
