I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

What story does the puzzle game follow?
Secrets of Liege asks your team to help a writer recover the inspiration that brings Detective Jules Maigret to life. The game runs in your phone’s browser without an app. Along the walk you see Grand Curtius, the Van Gogh Mural and the Perron of Liège. The fictional quest creates a common goal while the surroundings give colleagues things to notice and discuss. Take turns reading prompts and consider each suggestion before choosing the next answer. In a team of at most four, everyone has room to contribute. That makes the outing an activity you shape together rather than a walk directed entirely by one colleague.

Where does the detective alternative lead?
Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Liege follows a walking case from the town hall to Place Saint-Lambert and Marché de la Batte. You investigate through the free Loquiz app, with at most four players sharing one phone. Choose this game when colleagues would enjoy discussing a mystery as they explore. Make sure everyone can hear each prompt and offer a suggestion before the team decides on its next move. The small-team format can give quieter ideas a hearing alongside the quick answers. A case supplies the thread connecting your walk, while the shared decisions keep the activity focused on working together throughout the outing.
What should you prepare for the group?
