I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

Which games suit teams of four colleagues?

Secrets of Turin is a self-guided scavenger hunt with riddles, details to find and stories about the city. Your colleagues share a phone and decide how to approach the activity together. Choose it if your group wants exploration to shape the outing, with different people contributing observations as they walk.

Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Turin follows a case past Piazza San Carlo, Museo Egizio and Piazza Castello. It offers a detective story to discuss during a self-guided walk. Both games use the free Loquiz app and allow at most four players per team. Give every team its own phone, and encourage everyone to offer ideas rather than leaving decisions only to the screen holder.

What is the five-player outdoor escape choice?

The Turin Syndicate (outdoor escape game) follows Magnus and the stolen formulas past Piazza San Carlo, Chiesa di San Carlo and Chiesa di San Filippo Neri. It allows at most five players sharing one phone with the free Loquiz app. Colleagues guide themselves through the outdoor story at their own pace.

This larger player limit may change how you arrange your department into small teams. Decide on the game before assigning colleagues, then prepare one phone for each group. Everyone can contribute to the team's decisions even though only one person holds the screen. Keep the rivalry friendly and use the chase as a shared activity where different approaches have room in the discussion.

How do we coordinate the start and cost?

Each game costs €19.95 per team and takes 1.5 to 2 hours. Count teams within the four-player exploration and detective limit, or five for the outdoor escape option. Every team uses its own phone. Larger groups can ask for a group quote on the website.

All teams can start at the same time and compare scores. Choose your story, organise colleagues into teams that fit and prepare their devices before gathering. You can begin whenever you want, every day, and the booking is valid for 12 months. Agree a shared start and leave enough room for the walk in your outing's plans while teams follow the self-guided activity themselves.

Can colleagues begin as one group?

Yes. Teams can start at the same time and compare their scores, each using its own phone.

What should a team of five choose?

The Turin Syndicate (outdoor escape game) allows at most five players per team. The other games allow four.

Do we need an app for exploration?

Secrets of Turin uses the free Loquiz app, as do the other two games.

How do we request a larger group price?

Larger groups can ask for a group quote on the website.
