I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

Which quest follows Dante Alighieri?

Secrets of Verona asks your team to help Dante Alighieri recover a missing page of The Divine Comedy. It runs in your phone’s browser without an app. Along the route you see Piazza delle Erbe, Balcone di Romeo e Giulietta and Arena di Verona. The fictional search gives colleagues a common purpose while they explore together. Take turns reading prompts and invite different suggestions before choosing the next answer. A team of at most four gives quieter ideas room alongside quick answers. The story supplies the shared activity without one colleague having to direct every part of the walk or invent an extra challenge at each place you pass.

Where can colleagues investigate a mystery?

Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Verona leads your team from Piazza Brà and the Arena to Piazza Erbe. You investigate on foot at your own pace through the free Loquiz app, with one phone shared by at most four players. Choose the detective theme if colleagues enjoy discussing a case as the thread connecting their outing. Read each prompt together and consider different interpretations before deciding on an answer. The small team keeps the conversation manageable and gives each person a voice without needing the full group to agree at every step. A continuing story provides the focus while walking leaves room to talk between decisions.

How do you plan the group game?

Either Verona game costs €19.95 per team and lasts 1.5 to 2 hours. Start whenever you want, every day, with a booking valid for 12 months. Arrange teams of at most four, each with its own phone. All teams can begin at the same time and compare scores after playing. Choose the browser-based missing-page quest or prepare the free Loquiz app for the detective mystery before colleagues gather. Larger groups can request a group quote on the website. Leave enough space for the full walk in your plans so teammates can enjoy discussing and solving together before continuing with other arrangements.
