I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

Where can explorers and detectives follow a story?

Secrets of Delft follows an exploration route from Markt past Nieuwe Kerk, Prinsenhof and windmill De Roos. You solve puzzles as you walk, with colleagues bringing observations and ideas to the activity on a shared phone. Choose it when exploring the city together is part of what your group wants from the outing.

Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Delft takes a case from Stationsplein to Oude Kerk, Nieuwe Kerk and Oostpoort. It gives colleagues a detective story to discuss during a self-guided walk. Both games use the free Loquiz app and allow at most four players per team. Prepare a phone for every team and encourage everyone to help make decisions while one person handles the screen.

Which outdoor escape story allows five colleagues?

The Delft Syndicate (outdoor escape game) follows Magnus and the stolen formulas past Markt, Nieuwe Kerk and Vermeer Centrum Delft. It allows at most five players sharing a phone with the free Loquiz app. Colleagues guide themselves through the streets and follow the story at their team's pace.

This player limit gives your organiser another way to divide the group into small teams. Everyone can offer ideas while one person handles the screen, keeping the outdoor chase a shared activity. Choose it when its story fits your outing. Keep competition friendly and give different approaches room in the discussion while every team follows the self-guided game on its own device.

How do we arrange timing and the group cost?

Each game costs €19.95 per team and takes 1.5 to 2 hours. Count teams within the four-player exploration and detective limit, or five for the outdoor escape option. Every team uses its own phone. Larger groups can ask for a group quote on the website.

All teams can begin at the same time and compare scores. Select the story first, assign colleagues within its limit and prepare their phones. You can start whenever you want, every day, and the booking is valid for 12 months. Agree a shared beginning and allow time for the walk while teams follow the self-guided activity on their own devices.

Can our teams begin together?

Yes. Teams can start at the same time and compare scores, each using its own phone.

Can five colleagues share the detective option?

The detective game allows at most four players per team. The Delft Syndicate (outdoor escape game) allows five.

Where do we request a larger group quote?

Larger groups can ask for a group quote on the website.
