I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

Where does the outdoor escape route lead?
The Dordrecht Syndicate (outdoor escape game) begins from Grotekerksplein and includes the church, Korte Geldersekade, Engelenburgerbrug and Huis Van Gijn among its stops. Your group follows Magnus and the stolen formulas through the streets. The mission provides a common thread while those places give the walk its city setting.
Up to five people share one phone with the free Loquiz app. Take time to notice the church from outside before reading onward. No admission or interior visit is specified for the game. If you want a separate visit, plan it alongside the walking activity so your companions know what the outing includes before you begin.

How does the puzzle walk use the church?
Secrets of Dordrecht begins on Stadhuisplein and takes you past Lange IJzeren Brug, the church, the city hall and the riverside near Vismarkt. The activity connects these places with puzzles to solve, giving your group another way to explore together. Choose it when puzzle exploration appeals more than a continuing escape pursuit.
This game allows up to four players on one phone with the free Loquiz app. Let each person offer an idea before the team chooses an answer. The device holder can read without making every decision alone, and you can change roles as the walk develops. That helps everyone stay involved in the activity.
What should your team arrange before playing?
Both games take 1.5 to 2 hours and cost €19.95 per team. Both offer flexible daily starts and remain valid for twelve months after purchase. Compare the team limits and activity styles, then choose a date with your companions and prepare the free Loquiz app on your shared phone.
Decide whether the game will be the main outing or part of a longer city day. Extra time spent at individual places sits alongside the game duration. With that plan clear, you can arrive ready to enjoy your chosen activity, giving the church and the other real settings attention between the decisions that move your walk forward.
Do both routes include the church?
Yes, it is listed on both walks.
Which game permits five players?
The Syndicate outdoor escape game allows five per team.
Is church admission included?
No admission or interior visit is specified.
When can we choose to play?
Both activities offer flexible daily starts within twelve months of purchase.
