I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

What does the exploration game offer friends?
Secrets of Leuven combines puzzles and photo tasks with a self-guided walk through the streets and squares around Grote Markt. It uses the free Loquiz app on your own phone and allows at most four players per team. Friends can share observations as they follow the activity at their own pace.
Choose this option when varied exploration tasks sound right for the start of your day. One person holds the screen, but everyone can offer an idea and help decide how to approach the next task. Arrange several small teams if more friends want to join, with a phone for every group. Keep rivalry relaxed and make the walk a shared opening to your celebration, with each team guiding itself through the game.

Where can a detective team investigate?
Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Leuven follows a case from the historic town hall to Oude Markt and Ladeuzeplein. It uses the free Loquiz app on one phone and allows at most four players per team. Friends can discuss the mystery while following the self-guided walk at their own pace.
Pick this story when your bachelor or bachelorette group wants to work through a case together. Decide which friends will share each team phone and invite everyone to contribute ideas during the activity. Keep competition between teams friendly as the detective story gives the celebration a common focus. There is no guide leading the group or making its next decisions, so every team works through the game and discusses what to do together.
How do we plan the budget and beginning?
Each Leuven game costs €19.95 per team and takes 1.5 to 2 hours. At most four players share one team phone, so calculate the number of teams your guest list needs before booking. A larger party requires several team bookings and devices within that limit.
You can begin whenever you want, every day, and the booking is valid for 12 months. Choose the exploration game or detective case first, assign friends to teams and prepare the phones with the app. Agree a start together and allow enough space for the walking activity within your day's plans. These games are self-guided, leaving your group to organise its own beginning and follow the chosen story together during the opening of the celebration.
