I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

What can explorers do around Rathausmarkt?
Secrets of Hamburg starts on Rathausmarkt and leads you to the Binnenalster with puzzles to solve. The game is self-guided, so your friends follow the activity on a shared phone and decide how to approach the tasks together. It uses the free Loquiz app and allows at most four players per team. Choose this exploration option when your group wants the walk itself to shape the opening of the celebration, with everyone joining the conversation as you move through the city.

Which game gives us a detective case?
Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Hamburg follows a case from Rathausmarkt through Speicherstadt to the Elbphilharmonie. It gives your team a mystery to discuss during a self-guided city walk. You play in the free Loquiz app on one phone with at most four players. Let friends share their ideas about the story instead of leaving every decision to the phone holder. For a bachelor or bachelorette group that enjoys detective stories, this is a focused activity to begin the day together.
How does the five-player outdoor escape choice work?
The Hamburg Syndicate (outdoor escape game) sends you after Magnus and the stolen formulas past Gerhart-Hauptmann-Platz, St.-Petri-Kirche and Trostbrücke. Up to five friends can share a team phone, using the free Loquiz app. You follow the outdoor story through the streets at your own pace. That player limit offers another way to divide a larger party into teams. Keep the competition light, let everyone contribute to the team's decisions and make the chase a shared part of the celebration.
What are the cost and start arrangements?
Every game takes 1.5 to 2 hours and costs €19.95 per team. Work out the number of teams using the four-player limit for exploration or detective play and the five-player limit for the outdoor escape option. Each team needs one phone. You may begin whenever you want, every day, and the booking remains valid for 12 months. Agree the story and team arrangements before meeting, then allow room for the walk in your day's plans. No guide is needed to lead the activity.
Can our hen group choose these walks?
Yes. Bachelor and bachelorette groups can play in small teams with friendly competition.
What should we install on the team phone?
All three games use the free Loquiz app.
Do we pay for each guest separately?
The price is €19.95 per team within its stated player limit, using one phone.
Can five people play one detective game?
The detective game allows at most four players per team. Five players can share a team in The Hamburg Syndicate (outdoor escape game).
