I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

What can four friends explore or investigate?
Secrets of Wiesbaden combines puzzles and photo tasks with stories about Marktplatz, the Kurhaus and the hot springs. You guide yourselves, following the activity on one phone as your team discusses how to approach the tasks. It offers a varied exploration walk for friends who want to see the city together.
Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Wiesbaden takes a detective case from Bonifatiusplatz past Marktkirche and Kochbrunnen to the Kurhaus. Choose it when your group prefers a mystery to work through as it walks. Both games use the free Loquiz app and allow at most four players per team. Arrange a phone for every team before your party begins.

Where does the five-player outdoor chase lead?
The Wiesbaden Syndicate (outdoor escape game) follows Magnus and the stolen formulas past Marktkirche, Kaiser-Friedrich-Platz and Bäckerbrunnen. It accommodates at most five players sharing a team phone, using the free Loquiz app. You walk through the streets at your own pace while following the outdoor story.
For a bachelor or bachelorette group, that team size offers a different way to arrange your friends. Let everyone contribute to the decisions around the phone, keeping the rivalry between teams light. The game is self-guided, so your group follows the activity without a guide leading the walk. Choose this story when an outdoor chase sounds like the right shared opening to your celebration.
How should we plan the cost and the beginning?
Each Wiesbaden game takes 1.5 to 2 hours and costs €19.95 per team. Calculate how many teams your guest list needs, allowing four players for exploration or detective play and five for the outdoor escape game. Each team follows its chosen activity on one phone, so several teams need their own devices.
You may start whenever you want on any day, with a booking valid for 12 months. Select the story first, arrange the teams and prepare the phones for play. Then agree a time when friends should be ready and leave room for the walk in your day's plans. The self-guided format lets your party organise that start itself.
