I had a fantastic experience with CityGame! The concept is creative, engaging, and a great way to explore a city in a completely new way. The games are well-designed, combining puzzles, storytelling, and adventure so you’re constantly discovering something interesting around every corner. What I especially love is how CityGame turns a normal walk through the city into an interactive experience. It’s perfect for friends, families, or team outings, and it makes sightseeing much more exciting than the usual tours. Everything was easy to use, the challenges were fun and clever, and it really encouraged us to look closer at the city and its hidden details. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a unique and memorable way to explore!

This is an interesting way to conduct a self-guided Amsterdam city tour. It used the GPS on your phone to guide you to stops on a route. There are mini quizzes once you arrive at the stops on the path. The quizzes draw your attention to features in front of you or to a brief history of the place. In many cases, we visited a spot that would not have been obvious as a regular passer by. The tour as a whole was interesting to us as newcomers, but I would have liked more information on many locations we visited - a few links outside of the app for each place would have been helpful. Beyond that, the interface was a bit clunky and sometimes awkward to navigate. We definitely don't regret trying this out and feel like we got our money's worth on the experience.

What can four colleagues explore or investigate?

Secrets of Wiesbaden combines puzzles and photo tasks with stories about Marktplatz, the Kurhaus and the hot springs. Your colleagues guide themselves on a shared phone, offering observations as they explore and discuss their next decision together. Choose it when varied city tasks sound right for your group.

Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Wiesbaden follows a case from Bonifatiusplatz past Marktkirche and Kochbrunnen to the Kurhaus. It gives colleagues a detective story to discuss during their walk. Both games use the free Loquiz app and allow at most four players per team. Prepare a phone for each team and let everyone contribute ideas while one person handles the screen.

Which outdoor escape story accommodates five?

The Wiesbaden Syndicate (outdoor escape game) follows Magnus and the stolen formulas past Marktkirche, Kaiser-Friedrich-Platz and Bäckerbrunnen. It allows at most five players sharing one phone with the free Loquiz app. Colleagues guide themselves through the streets and follow the story at their team's pace.

That player limit offers your organiser another way to arrange colleagues into small groups. Everyone can help make decisions around the team phone, keeping the outdoor chase a shared activity. Pick this option when its story fits the outing. Keep competition friendly and give different approaches room in the discussion while each team follows the activity on its own phone.

How do we arrange the group start and cost?

Each game takes 1.5 to 2 hours and costs €19.95 per team. Count teams within the four-player exploration and detective limit, or five for the outdoor escape game. Every team uses its own phone. Larger groups can ask for a group quote on the website.

All teams can begin at the same time and compare scores. Select your story first, assign colleagues within its limit and prepare their phones. You may start whenever you want, every day, and the booking is valid for 12 months. Agree a shared beginning and allow time for the walk while each small team follows the self-guided activity itself.

Can teams compare their results?

Yes. Teams can start at the same time and compare scores, each playing on its own phone.

Sherlock Holmes murder mystery in Wiesbaden follows a case from Bonifatiusplatz past Marktkirche and Kochbrunnen to the Kurhaus.

What should a five-person team choose?

How can we request a larger group quote?

Larger groups can ask for a group quote on the website.
